New mind game for Spirit
As with most killers Spirit was a bit difficult for new players to balance against so got nerfed as over 80% of killers enjoyed playing her.
Now with sound bugs nerfing her further and still not being acknowledged I only play killers for dailys now and post on here as I wait in the long queues.
Sorry, I feel like a YouTube intro... so without further ado...
Use insidious perk to mind game solo survivors that you are phasing, yes it's a waste of a perk but just to see them panic towards you again as you stand at a crate or loop is worth it.

Also, is the bug basically built-in new Prayer Beads? If so it makes me realize how terrible that add-on is now.

You mean during a chase? Because If you phase walk during a chase, the husk still leaves out a terror radius so I dont think going completely silence it's going to help; although it might confuse them and a confused survivor its always a easier prey

The way her power works is survivors hear her phasing outside her tr radius. Insidious will bring it down to 0 if you stand still. I don't understand what the mindgame is here.

I don't think survivors run back into the husk since December 2018.

I actually used insidious on spirit a lot. It's a funny quirk to her power.
I don't know, what clicks in people brains, but sometimes they do think that spirit have left if they don't hear the heartbeat, even if they still see the husk.
Phasing standing still also pushes people that also just stand to do something (since you can hear it without heartbeat and know that she's phasing). people waiting at pallets or people standing at 2nd floor looking at you as ex. You have a choice to use silent phasing while TR is still there or make fake noises when TR is lost.
Also insidious lingers, you don't gain TR all at once, so you kinda can pounce at people unexpected (since insidious does work WHILE you're phasing), because most people relax if they don't hear TR right after phasing stops.
