For the people who are complaining about NOED
the perk is all up to the survivors, cleanse totems . if you're solo queuing here are a few ways to counter it:
1. detectives hunch (is honestly a underrated perk and was in the shrine like last week)
2. small game (it may not show you where exactly the totems are but it will show you the direction)
3.start to memorize where the totems can spawn (spawn points are usually the same on maps)
4. run a map( once again a underrated thing )
5. just do totems on your way to gens .
It's that simple.

Yep, I sure love tunneling that survivor that got unhooked after I hooked another survivor, kicked a gen, then found them on another gen and downed them after they had healed! I am the best at tunneling. :D

I believe this is mainly for those in game who do(Idk why he's posting on the forums).
He does however have a point as when I play survivor(I don't run it because I try not to let all gens get done when I play killer) nearly every game where noed goes off people complain in the end game lobby about it and decry the killers for using noed when I was the only one who broke totems(Noed when off after I broke 4 totems meaning no one else did a single one of them).

Yep, I sure loved being chased for most of the game or messing about for a few minutes trying to get off a RBT then dying because I didn’t have enough time to scout the entire map for 5 totems before the gens were done.
Great having to run map wide around 1000 mile long maps like mothers dwelling hunting for 5 little totems just to stop a perk that turns the killer into a god and removes the speed penalty from slow movement killers. Seems like a fair exchange.

Ok here is the solution
- Just don’t camp hooks
If you go pressure other survivors on gens rather than sitting around waiting for the unhooker to come along you won’t have that problem.

It does, as it has counterplay. DS only has mitigation, not counterplay. You either leave a person alone for 60 seconds, or get stunned for 5. You know a perk is too good when the better option is just to get hit by the perk.

Yes, because its camping when you turn around to go check on a gen and survivor with BT unhooks them while within a meter of you. Fair and balanced and takes tons of skill and can be countered by good play. (sarcasm mode)

Fair and balanced that you need to forsake all other points in the game to tun around a huge map and take out 5 totems which is more than another generators worth of time in the game all to stop one perk which turns the killer into an unstoppable god.

Just got out of a game against a DS "abuser". I slugged them and camped their dead body next to their mate's hook for a minute. Lost a gen but now 2 survivors are dead on hook and no one is on gens for a good while.

Fair and balanced that a huge map is more survivor sided, requiring a killer to go around and try and defend 7 gens with 4 survivors running around. The fact that NOED can still be cleansed after gates are powered. The fact it doesn't guarantee a down.

Killer mains will defend anything and try to justify it. Even if you had to run around for 10 totems they’d justify it.
If survivors had a perk like this you’d have made such a fuss on the forums it would have been nerfed into dust long ago.

I can see now why so many players here find the game hard as they aren’t applying any pressure to the survivors sat elsewhere pumping generators.

im not, someone hook bombed, I downed the hook rescuer, I.E a trade, I go to pick up and hook this person thus GIVING the unhooked person time to run away, I.E BEING NICE!, but they turn around and go for the unhook immediately after im done hooking the person who just saved them

Yeah yeah. Just went against a rank 16 huntress. Spent game tunneling one player. Me and other players did all gens. Facecamped the tunneled player. I tried to go save at egc. Noed. Then she facecamped me. Noed is a crutch for unskilled killers. Huntress sucked and was toxic af, didn’t deserve any kills.

so while your teammate was hanging you should have done totems .
Also you didnt have to go for the save . also you could have left the door 99ed and looked for the totem. I never said it easnt a crutch perk but remember survivors have dozens of crutch perks for second chances

No I felt bad and am on account I don’t care about so I went for save. Doesn’t change the fact she didn’t earn any kills by chase or skill. Relied on Noed or would have gotten none. Sorry but killers who rely on Noed suck.

How are DS and BT crutch? Thats the only real way for survivors to defend against killers that wait around the hook.

Lol same thing goes for Adrenaline, Borrowed Time & Decisive Strike these are the only perks I lose a majority of my killer games. Not the skill of survivors because anyone with a brain knows that 90% of survivors skill is pretty laughable, as of patch 3.5.0 i'm forced to use NOED if I want to get a 2k. (Imagine replying to a post that doesn't mean anything to everyone except you)

DS gives the survivor a second chance when they dont deserve it and BT does the same. "these perks are the only defense survivors have against killers" Bruhhh have you ever heard or seen dropping a pallet or vaulting a window, it's amazing right.

well its still your fault , you (knowing she was camping with noed )went for the save and got killed. you could have done other things to prevent this :
1. just leave and not go for the save
2. cleanse the totem before opening the exit gate
3. cleanse totems while she was camping your teammate earlier.
Stop making excuses and realize you messed up .
Also DH doesnt take and skill, BT doesnt take skill, and adrenaline doesnt take skill hell you could even argue DS doesnt take skill.

Yes, if they chase the unhooked survivor then it is tunneling. Not sure why teleporting would change that.
