Will they ever fix the issue where sometimes you lose the item you had even if you escaped with it

Does this happen to anyone else? It is the most annoying thing to bring a really good item into a match and escape with it only to realize its gone from your inventory when you return to the campfire

Did you not read the part where I said I escaped with the item. No franklins involved

Well I mean they refill your charges on all items isn't that enough? Having items aren't that necessary in my opinion.
