double standards
why is it than if i run noed, survs roast me for it... even if i 4k them well before all the gens are done...
but i mention their ds, unbreakable, prove thyself, and dead hard, its not valid.
complaining about a perk i didnt get to use cause i pooped on you, vs your arsenal of second chance bullshiit... and im the one that doesnt deserve to be in red ranks. IM the one thats bad. IM the one who uses crutch perks.
okay, chief.
if you are this type of survivor. stop it. get some help.

I wouldn't listen to salty survivors, they're just trying to get a reaction from you to make themselves feel better. Everyone is allowed to run what they feel like running.
14 -
Dead Hard is just so universal and doesn't care about maps, unlike Balanced or Lithe and is activated when the survivor chooses unlike Sprint Burst.
Decisive Strike is used to stop tunnelling (or it is by me anyway) because spme killers dont care that survivors are people too.
Unbreakable is for slugging because they've been slugged for running DS.
Prove Thyself doesn't do much at all.
Most of the Survivor meta perks are just universally applicable.
NoED is just infuriating because there is zero warning. The only other Exposure effect that isn't given to you instantly is Devour Hope. THAT is the main problem that I have.
3 -
My personal frustration with noed is that it's stronger versus solo q over swf, and that it gives a speed boost which makes it good on any killer instead of needing to have synergy to be included.
1 -
prove thyself does nothing? okay, dude. i guess when 3 people are on a gen and it gets done like 30% faster, yeah, no biggie.
dead hard: im bad and made a mistake. E. outplayed.
ds: im bad and got caught 60 seconds after the unhook regardless if the killer is tunneling or not
unbreakable: the killer doesnt wanna pick me up after i played like ass and waved my ds in his face. imma just get back up cause i keep getting downed cause im bad.
noed: gen times suck and hopefully they didnt DISABLE MY PERK by cleansing all the totems and i can get ONE kill cause people tend to run out the gates like its going out of style when noed pops.
15 -
tbh, i only like it for the speed boost. i dont care about the one shot.
1 -
In my mind it should be a counter for Adrenaline, so the exposed effect is probably all it would need in theory. I understand that end game builds need something that gives them a speed boost, but getting it from noed seems misplaced. It's not op as is, just annoying as solo.

Prove Thyself only cancels the first additional survivor penalty. DH can be baited, and if you have 4 other people, go into customs and practice. I never said DS was perfect. I said that I personally use it for anti-tunnelling.
Unbreakable is also only a once per game, and unless you are chasing across the map, you should be fine.
NoED for the speed boost is fine, but I just hate the free exposure.
3 -
but youre cool with all the second chance perks
noed can be cleansed
do totems
i cant cleanse a dead hard that gives them and extra loop or access to a pallet they shouldnt have been able to reach.
3 -
Why do people compare a 3 second speed boost followed by a minute of exhaustion to things like noed? Which literally hands Killer the game? Get a clue. 3 second speed burst vs . Speed boost and one hit down for all survivors. Hmmm
Also I’m sick of people whining about ds. As killer I literally never run into issues. Why? I don’t tunnel people off hook ,duh.
4 -
It's because the devs allow and in some cases encourage this kind of entitlement and attitude. They continually either nerf good killer perks or refuse to buff the weak ones; while giving survivors buffs to their bad perks and in some cases improving their already powerful perks. Or in the case of DS, just moving the power laterally and not really giving it any counter play still, only mild mitigation. They continually go on about 'fun' but only as its related to survivors; so if a killer is ruining thier 'fun', its obviously going against what the devs want. And what the devs seem to want is to make killers into punching bags for survivors to have fun with. The only reason they haven't removed the killers ability to attack is to allow survivors to use DS and feel smug that you 'tunneled' them after you hooked someone else.
3 -
Sprint Burst is better than DH anyways.
1 -
First I will say you are free to use whatever perks you wanna use, yes even No Ed.
Second, while I get that those survivors were wrong in judging your choices, I think comparing NoEd to all those perks you listed I disagree with. They don’t land a punch as much as No Ed does. I’m specifically talking about the overall effect, because the only requirement no ed has is that one totem wasn’t cleansed.
1 -
Tell them to run Small Game and they won't be affected by it. Perk for Perk right?
0 -
Run what you want or what you think is strongest for your killer. You don't see survivors running around with Deja Vu and Slippery Meat. People who only play one role complain the loudest with the least amount of logic. You'll run into that from time to time, especially with NOED. Nothing makes people's minds melt more than NOED for some reason. If you want everyone in a room to stop making sense, just bring up NOED.
1 -
Hands killers the game? Seriously? You must be in the low ranks if your whole team gets beaten by noed. I'm a survivor main in red ranks and most matches that killer has noed it won't even pop because i run small game and destroy all totems during the match. On the rare occasion it does pop I'll just find and cleanse it before going for the save or we all leave and the killer gets a 1k. Noed is not that difficult to counter, just do the bones and the killer will only be playing with 3 perks. I don't get people that complain about it.
4 -
I like how you start everything with "I'm bad" because that's not always the case. Most the time it's not the case. It just goes to show how much you don't like survivors when you immediately just say it's because they're bad.
But first off, your Prove Thyself example means that three survivors would have to be using it to go 30% faster. That's basically unheard of unless they're all doing the challenge at the same time. I've almost never seen anyone use Prove Thyself before the rift challenges.
Dead Hard basically prolongs a chase and that's it. The killer already hit them once. They're probably going to just hit them again. I don't even know why anyone complains about it. The only time it's frustrating is during end game when its used to escape. Other than that it bruises the killers ego for a few more seconds. lol
DS is a great perk for preventing players from being tunneled right off the hook but again it's probably a temporary thing because if the killer wants he can literally just keep chasing that person until he downs them again and he probably will since killers move faster than survivors.
Unbreakable? You can only get up once. Once. It's not going to ever break the game. Most people use it right away on the first time they're downed anyway which tends to be in the beginning or middle of a match. Easy solution? Hook the survivor. Hooks are every fifteen feet anyway (I have countless pics to prove this).
NOED I'm not even going to comment on it. But you can knock survivor perks and then make excuses for killer perks. That's so biased its not even funny.
As far as the original post goes? It blows my mind that survivors killed before NOED was even active would comment about it. That just... doesn't make sense and makes them look stupid. Now if they had outplayed you the whole game and were killed because of NOED at the end I can see why they would be salty.
1 -
I love how you say "because I'm bad" after every time someone uses these perks.
I can do the same watch
I'm using NOED because I couldn't kill them all and split pressure because I'm bad.
I'm using Enduring/Spirit Fury to counter pallet stuns that I could easily avoid because I'm bad.
You're probably thinking I'm a baby survivor main? Good, because you're the exact same on the killer side.
Shut up and adapt

"I'm a survivor main in red ranks"
Sure you are bud. Everyone says that
1 -
Wait. Why would you roast them about Profe Thyself?

I ######### love you. Preach !
Signed an ex killer main.

Salty survivor main doesn't like getting called out for his crutch perks lol.

I mean, any side using meta perks cant complain ever. Killer or survivor. Both sides double standards eachother
1 -
Another double standards of a killer main.
1 -
Can we stop comparing sides please? I'm tired of seeing "You're a Survivor main because you complained about X on killer side" or "You're a killer main because you complained about X on the survivor side".
You have no idea what side they play and that's your opinion. This is a forums, a place to discuss things and if you're going to throw a tantrum over someone having a different opinion to you then why bother coming onto here? Your reply was not constructive at all and you're just being aggressive for no reason.
I've noticed you have replied to someone doing the "flip side of the coin" thing but the person who you replied to with the "Sure you are bud" never said anything to you, it just seem like you're looking for an argument for no reason whatsoever and it makes you seem like a child.
Dead hard can be baited but it's uncountable if they use it for distance. It literally gets you to another loop for free which you wouldn't have gotten to anyway unless they are out in the open. Using it to avoid a hit is garbage because it is easy to bait out add dedicated servers into the mix and it does nothing but using it for distance is the true strength of this perk.

Why do people compare killer perks to survivor perks when killer perks are suppose to be more powerful since it's a 1V4. Where does this notion come that survivor perks have to be on the same level as killer perks? Aside from this, NOED doesn't hand you the game, it punishes survivors for not doing totems
2 -
Ohmigod, are you a psychic, that is literally the build I ran for a while: just Deja Vu and Slippery Meat. Sometimes I'd burn those little chalk pouch offerings for a bit of extra luck to help me get myself off the hook. It was fun, and it looked really crazy on the end screen to see everyone else decked out and me with my two perks.
0 -
I agree completely, if more than one person dies because of NOED then that is just bad play by the survivors. Don't try and save someone while NOED is active, either cleanse the totem (like you should have done during the match) or leave.
1 -
Survivors will use literally anything at their disposal to win, Killer should do the same.
The way I look at it is as long as you are actually playing the game as intended, it is fine. So like, tunneling the person off hook because 3 or 4 gens are done and you need at least one person dead like right now- go for it. Sitting on someone as bubba the first down you get, and doing nothing all game but that....not so much; as you are not really playing the game at all anymore.
If you need to camp, tunnel, etc when it makes sense to just be more effective, 100% go for it and ignore the survivors that complain about it.
Survivors will do stuff like this all the time: https://youtu.be/oEZGBqFlPF4?t=549

Dead hard can't really be baited when people are using it to gain distance
0 -
It also goes on a cooldown that is paused by running.
0 -
Bunch of babies, all you have to do is cleanse the totems, not hard to do or all you guys want to do is rush gens? If noed is active, it's your team's fault
0 -
And? Its been that way for a while I was playing back when people used to run vigil when exhaustion went down while running. What I'm saying is there isn't anything you can do when survivors use dead hard for distance
0 -
Dead Hard if used by a good survivor doesn't need it for it to be a "universal" exhaust perk. They use it for the short immunity to ignore punishment.
Decisive Strike if used by a good survivor doesn't need it to "counter tunneling". They use it for a 60 second immunity to ignore punishment.
The perks a majorly flawed for what they are intended to be used for. DS alone I don't understand why there even needs to be a perk to counter tunneling, when tunneling is a quick way to lose as Killer.
0 -
Tunneling is the most efficient path to killing all 4 survivors. The faster one survivor dies the faster they all die. Logicc
0 -
I have had invisible totems before, and I am not dedicating a whole perk to that small possibility. And no, I want to be chased to get Chaser up. I want to heal others to get Altruism.
I don't have a cry whenever I lose, and I call it as I see it. NoED is the pinnacle of bad perk design, and I am not one to abuse perks in some sort of vein hope that people actually have some respect. Don't lump me in the same boat as those tryhards.
Is it a quick way to lose as killer? I find it depends on the team. And yes, there needs to be anti-tunnelling perks because getting deleted from a match is not good for anyone.
As for the "immunity" that's a perfect opportunity to leave them on the floor. They have Unbreakable? They have just wasted it. You have the tools as killer to punish bad survivor play, so USE THEM.
1 -
Against a good survivor he will just loop you for 5 gens with the ridiculous number of pallets and windows on most maps. Any good killer knows this, that's why they don't do long chases.

Except you can keep downing them in the same area where all the resources are drained.

I'm guessing you don't play survivor much do you?

Eh tbh I don't remember all the nuance of it. Your point?

As much as I dislike NOED and think it's unhealthy for the game, I also think the same about DS, BT, Unbreakable etc. Second chance perks on either side are unhealthy crutches. I agree though, this double standard does happen a lot.
1 -
As much as I hate going against noed, it's entirely the survivors fault if it affects them. Just cleanse the totems dude
0 -
They can't complain about your Noed but you can complain about their (God I hate this stupid term) "second chance" perks? Both sides have whiny little bitches. Just play the game ffs.
2 -
Who said anything about me throwing a tantrum?
Literally everyone says the same crap and there is no need for it.
"I'm a survivor main in red ranks because..."
"I'm a killer main in red ranks and I think that..."
That part of the sentence isn't needed. You can just express your opinion for a change or something. Saying "I main X" just puts yourself in a bad spot most of the time

I read it as if Micheal Jordan was telling me in a commercial.
Thanks

Just because you can't hit red ranks doesn't mean nobody can. Keep practicing, you'll get there one day little buddy.

Nice try bud.
Since when did assumptions mean someone isn't red ranks?
Loser

Haha. Love that, go off!
