Sounds still bugged for killer
Been a few months now sounds have been bugged. Cant hear people who I've downed sometimes an also stridor isn't working against iron will . Might be some more issues around sound that I'm forgetting also please fix !

It's so inconsistent too. I can't seem to pinpoint what's causing it. But I do know that sound bugs are more common when I play spirit than when I play other killers.
On a somewhat related sound bug note. The phasing whoosh noise can be heard while in the spirits terror radius.

Yeah, some survivors that are slugged bleed to death because I wasn't able to find them. Not fun for anyone.

Spirit has been unplayable for me since the sounds bugs not even bothering with her until the fix it

I run it on oni all the time hes my slugger killer as of recent because of the sound issues

That's why i don't play with sound anymore. I just listen to music, that keeps me very relaxed when playing killer.
Of course i play only killer without sound, when playing surivor sound is more importand.

Meanwhile basement glitch got fixed for (almost all) survivors in less than a week. A glitch that affected a small amount of one side rushed to be fixed vs a glitch affecting the entire side. I understand that there's difficulty differences based on the recent stream, but a full month isn't long enough to give a "yep x date it'll be fixed"

Thats a thing like for always. I never really understood why people always said TR and wooshing sound is related. I tested it maybe over half a year agon in KYF and when standing at the edge of TR you can hear the sound already. And it didn't seem to be related at all to TR as Distressing etc didn't change it. Where do you guys get that info from?

yeah of course. because bleed out bug which happens randomly and affects you rarely, you refuse the assistance of footsteps and grunts of pain. happy 0k

Well... i just use my eyes, works completly fine on rank 3-5.
Sure with sound i will be at rank 1 but i dont really care about my ranb anymore.

So you don't need to hear gens, especially not on Lery's or game. LOS is totally sufficient. And chases are fine as well, you don't need mindgaming like hearing if the survivor runs behind the wall or not and stuff.
Puppers has a challenge wheel and one of them is deaf killer game. Really would like to see video proof of how you play killer without sound...

You're 100 percent right. I went through the patch notes for spirit. The whoosing noise is not based off of the terror radius. It's 8 meters from her husk. I had no idea, but it makes so much sense.

I couldn't find any patch notes stating that they changed it from 8 meters. The testing that I did with a friend makes it seem like it is 8 meters as of right now. It might be a bit more than 8 meters but it's definitely not the full terror radius.

Here https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/16750/changes-to-the-spirit/p1 it says that the survivor will not hear her Spirit Sound while in her Terror Radius. It's the last point in the list.
That's what I found. Are the patch notes about the 8 meters thing more recent?

I believe so, the patch notes are from her release. While I believe your post is at the end pf the PTB. But this is interesting. I'd love to get some clarification from the developers.

Well, I also found these patch notes from the mid-chapter update after her release https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/25535/patch-notes-2-3-0-mid-chapter where again it mentions her Terror Radius:
"The Spirit's phasing audio has been adjusted: Survivors within the Spirit Husk's terror radius will not hear the phasing sound. Survivors outside the Spirit Husk's terror radius can hear the Spirit's phasing sound, but will not be able to determine its direction. Survivors will no longer be able to hear the Spirit's breathing while she is phasing."
That's from October 2018 vs the PTB's "changes to the Spirit" post from August 2018 that I linked to previously.
Yes, I would really like a clarification from the developers.
