Nemesis System - Killer/Survivor Relationships
Adding special abilities/buffs/nerfs to certain killers and survivors when they square off against each other could really make things interesting and stop survivors from just functioning as reskins (your character choice may matter).
The basic idea is to provide buffs/nerfs to both sides while creating the feeling of tension that should exist between the two characters.
IE - Freddy/Quentin
Freddy
Taking advantage of Quentin's frequent microsleeps, Freddy does not need to put Quentin asleep to damage or interact with him. If tagged by his power, Quentin transitions into the dream world 50% faster than his peers. In the dream world, Quentin suffers from the 'exposed' status effect.
Quentin
Ever so tired, but used to drifting between reality and dream, Quentin is unaffected by Freddy's invisibility and aura reading.
When in the dream world, he is unaffected by its base action penalty debuff, and his skill check frequency cannot be affected. Knowing the dangers of what awaits the others should they fall asleep, Quentin is able to wake other survivors up 50% faster.
Pairings like Pig/Tapp, Doc/Feng, Clown/Kate, and Myers/Laurie could all create some fun, new "mini-scenarios."

Oh, they finally decided my topic was "not spam."
Wonderful!

Thats an awesome idea! hope the devs look into something like this soon, to further make trials more interesting.

I like this idea, at first glance. I'd have to see it in practice to know for sure if it's good or not.

Not sure how well such a concept could be implementated, but the base concept sounds interesting and makes sense.
3 -
One problem will be Leatherface and Bill, who dont have their respective nemesis. You could pair them together, but Left for Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre have nothing to do with each other. Maybe they are best left outside the system.
3 -
Bill could probably be omitted as he is not on console, and his omission would create equal sides.

I’d love this1

Really cool ideà1

That is so cool! I love this idea!
Maybe Tapp could get out of RBTs faster, since he's so familiar with the Jigsaw case? Or something like that?
I'd love to contribute more ideas, but that's the only one I could think of at the moment. lol

Omg, one of the best ideas I’ve had the pleasure of reading in quite a while!

The Pig
This one's special. Filled with rage at Tapp's constant meddling in Jigsaw's plans, Amanda decides to bend the rules, just a little. The first Reverse Bear Trap placed on Detective Tapp contains a modified timer that slowly releases a toxin. This Reverse Bear Trap gains the following attributes:
1) The Special Reverse Bear Trap is not lethal - If the timer expires, permanently reveal Tapp's aura. He can be moried.
2) The timer starts immediately.
3) Tapp instantly reverts back to the injured state and gains a Sprint Burst.
4) Every 30 seconds, inflict a random, permanent status ailment.
5) If healthy, failing a Jigsaw Box skillcheck will force Tapp into the injured state.Detective Tapp
He's been here before. He knows how Jigsaw works. He'll never forget the sounds of metal scraping and electronics beeping. Each time a Reverse Bear Trap is activated, Tapp can permanently see the auras of the trapped survivor and also the Jigsaw Box to which the trap corresponds. If Tapp fails to escape from a Special Reverse Bear Trap, he loses this ability. If escape is successful, Tapp has mastered the game. He gains the ability to complete any (aura)revealed Jigsaw Boxes to get a key. This key replaces Tapp's current item and may be used to unlock the corresponding Reverse Bear Trap of the (aura)revealed survivor.2 -

All in all, though, I think it's a really cool idea. It could make matches more interesting. My main concern regarding it is the possible increase in lobby dodges or disconnects, which is bound to happen.0 -

On topic: I think it's a neat idea, but at the same time with the way teachable perks work, I can see a lot of people playing Quentin (or another nemesis of an unpopular killer) just to avoid being affected by it. Might also be a little awkward with the base characters, Bill, and Leatherface, as they are not tied to a specific killer/survivor.

Careful with this, or we'll see Laurie Strode crippling Myers for life when she cuts off his attacking arm with Decisive Strike.

Sounds cool, but would be a nightmare to balance it.0
