MMR, SWF, and "Fairness"
In the dev post about matchmaking, the word "fairness" is thrown around a lot. And yet, SWF is not mentioned even once.
If an MMR system is introduced, obviously 4-man SWF teams will be the highest MMR because they have inherent advantages that solo players do not. Is this not seen as a problem? I don't understand how you can introduce skill-based matchmaking and not factor in SWF whatsoever.

They never said they would or wouldn't. How about you wait to see what happens first?

I really doubt they will do anything to harm SWF. People have been complaining for years, and haven't done #########.
And whatever they do, needs to be big to even scratch the power that is God mode.
Imaine the outcry though.

How about they give us some of the conditions for the new mmr? They've stated they had rolled it out during 3.5, and that it allowed them to gather some preliminary data.

The fact that they haven't mentioned it at all is worrying. I don't think they see it as a problem, however, it is completely killing the fun of being killer. I am rank 12 and only get paired with red ranks. Why? because most survivors are red rank now because they play SWF. I think they should eliminate the ability to invite friends to your game. The game then becomes solo survivors vs solo killer. No unfair advantage there. If SWF groups complain about it they can go play custom games for no BP.

I made a long thread about this before, and it got ignored. I wouldn't assume that the devs will respond to this to ease concerns, sadly.
