Is anyone else lacking a lot of sound?
Idk why, but my games are lacking all types of sounds today. Killer lunges have no sound, something’s are muffled, no injured sounds, no screams when hit but screams would work while being shocked, totems made no noise even when breaking (as killer and survivor). This was on my Xbox today, haven’t played my pc lately

I had a Billy earlier that chainsawed just inches away from me and I didn't even hear him coming. It was bizzare!

Yeah I just had a doctor. Some of his music you could hear but it was working like a lullaby and not a heartbeat. So I couldn’t determine how close he was to me that well. Breaking pallets isn’t making sound

yeah sound has been bugged in the game for awhile now, its pretty bad

certain maps seem to be worse than others in my experience ormund seems to be the worst

Dying survivors don't make any noises sometimes.

Yes, as a killer survivors sounds are all over the place. Most of the time you can be right next to them slugged and they are making no noise. No Iron will and not Ace

It's always been bugged. Especially after the engine update in 2018, they never fixed it.

Not hearing generators through 1 wall is still a thing, and that is the most annoying imo

Sounds have gotten progressively worse over the years. Often blamed on Unreal Engine stuff. I know PUBG (also on UE) has had issues with various sounds like footsteps over the years as well.

Had a few issues in games last night.
Healing, repairing and other interaction sounds were missing, although I could still hear general environmental sounds, such as the Generators themselves. A restart of DBD sorted it though.
PC here.
