"Just apply more pressure" is the new "git gud" change my mind
If anyone ever voices their grievences with how quickly the game can go by sometimes it's almost guaranteed somewhere in the replies there will be a comment simply reading "just apply more pressure".
Because it's possible to apply cross map pressure at the start of a game to 2 or more survivors to stop 2-3 gens from popping in the first minutes of the game.
This happened more frequently than I thought it would when I play survivor and it's been on the rise since matchmaking got screwed.

Yes...let me apply more gen, survivor, map, chase pressure all at the same time while all gens pop within 4 minutes....

When all Gens pop in 4 Minutes, you clearly did not apply any pressure.

In the time it could take you for once chase if the survivor is good is plenty of time for the 3 others to get 3 gens done in 1:30m.
Its quite possible mathematically that this can happen regardless of how good a killer is. Because survivors always have a couple of good loops they can chain to waste the killers time. And if the killer gives up chase they have to spend time going towards a generator which has a 50/50 chance of either being worked on or not being worked on.

If I'm being obliterated by survivors (This happens probably 1/10 games) then I'll just protect 3 Gens and if they try and run from the gens as a distraction I'll hit them and go back. They can go heal somewhere else I don't care.
I go in with a few goals.
1) 4 BBQ stacks
2) Don't let them escape.
3) Don't let them open the doors.
4) Don't let them do 5 Generators.
That's my priority list. I play Hag, Spirit and Trapper for the most part and I don't always get 4K, or 3K. Which is fine. With Spirit I can rapidly take control of the game, but with Hag and Trapper I more strategically push Survivors away from 3 Generators and let them create a big deadzone around it. If I can get them to use the pallets early around my 3 Gens then I'm almost guarenteed a 3K.
With the recent new Tome release I had quite a few morons run at the hook to get their WGLF 4 stack so very easy games for me as the Killer. However, now that people are looting chests with Plunders I'm getting a few double hatch escapes when I'm playing Hag or Trapper. They don't usually get to 1 Gen remaining if I'm on Spirit.
I think you need to set yourself some more achievable goals, realise that losing 1 Generator isn't the end of the game and you can always turn it around. Hell, I've 4Ked because they got cocky at the exit gates before.

Wait, someone considers this a valid argument?
I used it as a meme.
Just like:
- Soon
- Overperforming
- Unfun
- Frustrating
- doing the objective

Ive actually been able to do alright while playin as Myers lately, who has the worst opening of any killer. New ruin has also been pretty nice on afew killers that I've tried it with.
This game on rotten fields for example, I was able to injure 2 and down a 3rd before the survivors could finish a gen, because I could tell that they kept trying to finish it when they assumed I was running after whoever got hit last. I am NOT a good Huntress by any means, but I was able to do work, lol.

I'll stop you right there bukko. Is that an actually balanced match rank wise you have there? Tell me your ways on the dark Web to get such a thing

I'm capable of applying extreme pressure as Clown without any issue.
Rank 1 self-proclaimed God Clown.
My current build:
"Corrupt Intervention + Insidious + Play With Your Food + Tinkerer"
My previous build:
"Corrupt Intervention + Discordance + Dying Light + Thanatophobia"

In a way, yes. No need to change your mind when you're right :)

I'm sorry but that kind comment is frustrating to read and is overperforming in terms of keeping the intention stated by the title in mind. Nerf when?
Bad jokes aside I'm looking forward to the next buffing patch. Cya in 2021

Its hit or miss. Sometimes I get pretty balanced matches rank wise, sometimes not. Alot of times when I get a random yellow or something in my lobby, I just chalk it up to SWFs, although I know thats not always the case. Unfortunately I dont typically screenshot too many games unless theres a salty endgame chat involved. Heres one such example of new ruin working well on Myers for example on Wretched shop.

Survivors have - well just apply pressure.
Killers have - well don't get caught.

Ah yes a classic.

Theres more :
Survivors :
Just don't tunnel
Just dont commit to chases
Just don't overguard generators
Just don't miss swings
Just don't get pallet stunned
Just don't get head on stunned
Killers have :
Just don't get hit
Just don't gen rush (noed)
Just don't self care in a corner
Just do gens
Just heal
Just don't waste pallets
The lists go on

Well in all fairness... selfcaring in a corner IS a preventable dumb thing. If your gonna selfcare, at least do it near some sort of protection as opposed to a giant deadzone like the edge of the map. Whenever my nurse's calling picks that up when I'm playing Mikey or Huntress (the 2 killers I run Nurses calling on often), I know its just gonna result in an easy down.
