Bloodpoint reduction for "Bad Behaviour"

Not sure if this IS actually possible, but just throwing an idea out of there for all the uncanny business going on in Dead By Daylight.

Bloodpoints seem to be a very valued aspect for gameplay - A lot of people revolve around such. Since we're able to reward bloodpoints for certain actions, would it be possible to reduce (AKA subtract) bloodpoints for bad behaviour or whatever you wanna call it? I.e Camping, Pallet looping, etc. Maybe this will help atleast reduce the chances of these actions occuring (Not like the emblem system helped with jack ######### except making it harder for both killers and survivors to pip)

Just a small idea out and putting it out there, maybe the Entity shouldn't be pleased with you if you play like a ######### ;)

Ehhhhh. No. Camping and pallet looping is bad behavior? I'll take it as it is rather than have restrictions imposed on me in how I should play. Who would police this, the one that perceives the bullying? Lol.

Now that I think about it.. How about a "Tip Jar" for those that played fairly?

"Dude, I know you didn't get any kills this game but me and my buddies were just talking about how you played really really well. Here's 20 BP."

    Maybe?

I'd rather have you dead instead of looking like a hobo with a cup begging for a crust of bread.

How about like in league where you can select sportsman like person and they receive something in return. (No key fragments please I don’t want loot boxes)

They already have "props" you can give a player you liked. It helps to offset any reports they have.

Personally, you shouldn't be rewarded for being a decent player in the game. You're supposed to not be toxic.

    I really like that idea.

And it's just more of a suggestion to face the frustrations players get I suppose - I know it's not bad behaviour but I wasn't sure what to call it. This is just an encouragement not to do so, to lead to less complaints towards the game.

End game chat, game exploits, holding the game hostage, abusive chat... those are the things that should be punishable.

However, it should be suspensions and silences, not BP reducs.

I said it half jokingly, but maybe it's really not that bad an idea? There would have to be some kind of limitation though because I"m sure someone would exploit it.

Just thinking out loud, but what about a timeout or severe bp reduction for a certain amount of time after maybe 3 dc's within a 24 hour period? The only real bad behavior that can be tracked or punished in game is a dc. Thoughts? They could also have bad sport matchmaking or lobbies kind of like GTA has where shithead killers only get to play against shithead survivors lol

Yeah, people would tip low BP amounts just to insult people.

"here is 1BP go #########" type #########. I guarantee it!

I wouldn't expect it to, but it would be funny if there were a leaderboard for "most tips". That in itself might promote a more "fair" or "fun" time. Even a slight effect could be good. I for sure know how it is not to get a BBQ stack so I would definitely tip a killer that couldn't down anyone even though they seemed to play right, but just didn't draw the right cards that round.

You might be able to circumvent that by having one or two options: 100 bp or 250 bp.

No easy way to detect "bad behaviour."
