How to nerf keys and ebony mories
These 2 ideas are not my own. The ebony idea I forget where I heard it from tbh. The other idea is from "alexisplaying".
Key nerf: Keys could only be used to open hatch if all 5 gens got completed or if the killer already closed the hatch. Obviously you could use aura add ons at any time to channel the key still.
Ebony mori nerf: You wouldn't be able to mori anyone till all 4 survivors were hooked at least once. So if someone just tunneled off hook they couldn't mori you unless they hooked the other 3 survivors as well.

I think Mori's should only work on kill hook and cypress should just be build in.

Without cypress secret offerings would be pretty empty.

I agree with this for mori's. But keys should be left as is in my opinion. Keys are pretty balanced right now. The requirements to open the hatch are reasonable. And even though it is a very strong item. Killers still have way better addons to help them kill survivors.

That would make them almost worthless though. The ONLY scenario it would be useful for is if someone saved DS for their last hook or there was a bunch of recently sabo'd hooks and none are now nearby.
Kills the point of a Mori.

I think those scenarios is enough, in general I feel perks and addons and offerings are too powerful and skew the balance too much.
More subtle boosts is better.

Keys shouldn't let multiple survivors go or be able to be used during chase. Just my opinion, it wouldn't hurt anybody if they stayed as they are, my ideas would just make key escapes feel more earned.

I can agree with that. The problem with that though is it would take a lot more than just Moris/Keys to be nerfed to get anywhere near that though.

I agree with that actually. They should make keys only work on yourself unless you use a add-on that lets you bring people out with you. And also add a 3 second opening animation to prevent it from being used in chases.

I have to disagree about the key part. Keys not only can help see the killers aura with add-ons but can also leave the game early through the hatch. Survivors already get too many chances. Hatch spawns depending on the amount of peoplr alive and how many gens are done, you can power the exit gate, if you're the last one alive you can get free hatch

If you do all the gens i think you deserve to escape. But like i said to Waffleyumboy they should add a 3 second opening animation to prevent instant escapes while in chases. And also make an add-on that allows you to take people with you and make the default key work on yourself only.
