New doctor is just as annoying..
Can't stand the shock therapy /strike ability combo. Just allows the doctor the ability to Disrupt and end chases quicker and move on to disrupting and starting new chases sooner.
Ability to stop you from vaulting or pallet dropping is too unbalanced.

Try Calm Spirit and drop pallets early instead of waiting at them; you wouldn't have to complain on the forums then.

When I'm survivor every doc does this without fail. I bring them to a pretty safe pallet, I drop early to avoid a shock and they bloodlust while shocking me to get a hit, it's very annoying and bloodlust is a stupid mechanic to help killers succeed on poor map design anyway.

The fact that the Doctor can't simply walk around the map and passively find survivors with his static field makes him 1000 times less annoying IMO.

Correct. Hopefully the maps will get good and we will be able to get rid of bloodlust them.
But you can vault a safe pallet back and forth until he kicks it, like, don't actually loop, just vault.

That's one statement I don't get. Right now his ability to find survivors has become even more powerful. Sure, before all he had to do is walk around a bit slower but, excluding madness I, it took some time. Now he goes boom every now and then and everything is clear xD Don't get me wrong, I love his update, but I find it to be 100% buff. Nowadays Doc and Hag might be few Killers that can withstand gen speed pressure and do their thing, while stealth Killers, who need to take their sweet time, suffer.

I didn't say it was a nerf. It's less annoying to me, though. You can jump in a locker for 3 seconds instead of the entirety of the time you are in the doctor's radius. And as easy as static blast is to use it requires input and you can reset from tier 3 down to tier 1. You're not always seconds away from being back to tier 3 now

Tunneling doctors are disconnect worthy because you can't escape due to screaming. If they're playing normally they're kinda okay.

Unless they changed it, Doc loses bloodlust when he uses his shock therapy, just like most killers lose it once they use their power.

Killers should also "get good" at countering Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Adrenaline, and Dead Hard. 😎

I agree. Killer mains frequent this forum so be prepped to be told how wrong you are, to “git gud”, and this is all from same people who rioted in the streets when they nerfed ruin. Ironic huh?
Anyway doc sucks and is just as annoying if not more than he was before.

You’re comparing 3 second perks that have massive cool downs to a killer main power? I just want to make sure I’m understanding because the stupidity on this forum is outta this world.

I wasn't actually protesting against those perks. In actuality, I was being a little exaggerative by pretending to be entitled in a mocking sense of this post. I mentioned those perks because those are the ones that get complained about the most. Apologies for the misunderstanding, so let me clarify a bit.
Those perks suck to go against. But they're not game breaking. Doc's main ability may suck to play against. But it isn't game breaking. If it was, everyone would be playing doc. Do I think either need a nerf? No.

I agree with Dead Hard, old BT was broken, this new one definitely is NOT, and Decisive is almost useless now, especially if the killer is running Enduring. Never used DS in my life, but I've seen videos of it. Not a good perk anymore.

PSA!!! KILLERS ARE MEANT TO BE THE POWER ROLE AND FOR THAT TO HAPPEN THEY STILL NEED MANY MORE BUFFS! IF KILLERS WERE MORE ENJOYABLE TO PLAY, GAME HEALTH WOULD BE MUCH BETTER. SURVIVOR EXCLUSIVE PLAYERS NEED TO PUT ASIDE THEIR IGNORANCE AND SELFISHNESS AND TRY PLAYING KILLER ONCE IN A WHILE.

I don’t particularly like having to play scummy and slug because in my first chase three generators popped. I guess I should’ve “applied pressure better” on a map the size of Saturn and I’m playing a low map pressure killer.
Just because you don’t like something means it’s not beatable. I don’t like Freddy. I don’t like Ghostface. I think Spirit is boring to go against. I’m not going make threads about it though. All you can do is move on to the next match.
Go play Doctor and see how “annoying” good survivors are gonna think you are. They aren’t gonna care.

Doctor is not in any way, shape, or form overpowered or "annoying." You just haven't learned how to counter his power. But, instead of trying to find a counter to his power, you're complaining to the forms and claiming he is too powerful, EVEN THO THE KILLER IS MEANT TO HAVE POWER OVER SURVIVORS. Also, ruin being nerfed was a terrible idea at the moment since objectives get completed so fast that survivors can finish 2-3 gems after one chase is over. I get u can find him annoying now, but learn how to counter him and you will be fine. And, just so u know, doc was more annoying before because of the stance change and static field, but I digress. Throw pallets and vault early, move to different loops when he shocks, just LEARN to counter him. Also, ITS FOUR SURVIVORS AGAINST ONE KILLER, so don't be stupid and u will win.

Try and move to a different loop. This works because doctor as limited movement speed while charging shock therapy, just run away from it to a different loop (safe or unsafe, doesn't matter) and just waste his time. Even if he gets u, ur team would have gotten at least 1 or 2 gens done

Nothings really changed from before. Thay added the AoE attack instead of the Treatment mode with the passive TR madness effect. People are playing him more because he's no longer as weak of a killer plus now with the rework he's technically newish again.
He always had the ability to prevent you from vaulting/dropping pallets for free hits. Now it's just easier to do because you dint waste time shocking then switching from treatment to punishment.

I dont really mind the whacky skillchecks and being made to scream however the chase music and even the grinding non chase sounds can be unbearable and i have dc'ed and died asap on hook because of this

I play both Killer and survivor. And although I believe overall survivors have it better right now. I absolutley hate The Doctor. When I pkay him I feel scummy, his kit does all the work for me, I zap someone so they cant vault for an easy hook, zap to find the next survivor, rinse and repeat untill they start screaming. As for map pressure I dont really have to worry with gens as much as I do other killers. The madness skill checks take care of that pretty well. If I'm against players who can power through I just spam my shock as I'm passing by gens and problem solved. He is the easiest killer because 3/4 his job is done for you. He's a ######### M1 killer with an overloaded kit, that is boring to play as and obnoxious to play against.

LMFAO, I can passively destroy rank 1 survivors with range addons. I can just chase the entire match and anytime I'm remotely close to a gen I static shock. Now nobody can actually do a gen, hope you brought a key for the hatch, though I suggest attempting to snap out of it so I dont see you going for it.
Whenever I want to have an easy match I play The Doc. If I want to have fun and not have 3/4 tof thr game be played passively through my overloaded kit I will play literally anyone else.
If you struggle with The Doc at all you must be a sh!#@y killer. Git Gud.

Stumbled upon this thread recently, sick of seeing git gud responses to legitimate game issues. The Doc is stupid even in a game that is favored on the survivor side. I have my best games with The Doc and with a fraction of the effort. I'm not saying I'm great at the game, I believe I'm average. That's how stupid overloaded The Doc is. I fail to understand why people choose to pretend this isn't a thing. It's just as obnoxious as survivors saying "just pressure the gens" when killers point out that gen rush is broken.

You must have trouble reading. Out of all killers I put in the least effort to win with the Doc. When his kit does everything for you, that's an issue. He is not just decent. If you have a brain he is easy mode.

Just adapt and learn how to counter him. People who mains a killer learn that killer from inside and out. As survivor you won't face the same killer every game but after many games against every killer you will learn and get better.
That said I think Doctor is the most annoying killer to go against.
