Toxic in game after game blah blah

Good day to you all, killers and survivors alike.

I have been playing DBD for about three weeks now and I gotta get some things out there.

Toxic texts.

Survivors, does everyone think the point of the game is for the killers to let all of the survivors.... survive ?

Let's look at the game for a moment in whole I see lots of"fair" "unfair" comments and complaints.

First of all, how is a 4V1 set up fair ? You have a list of killers who are slow, clumsy and that are susceptible to a slew of moronic slow down stalls. When the killer actually gets a hit, they are rendered into seizure mode for a few seconds and the survivors bolt away with bursts of speed.

Survivors have tool boxes, power pick ups and of course, teammates sho can free them from hooks and heal them at what seems to be light speed. Killers have tunnel vision, easy to lose survivors in the chase.

Mind you, none of the things I mentioned are a complaint by any means on my behalf. I am simply pointing out some tangible facts about the gameplay.

Toxicity comes in here, during the game and or afterwards.

I have never once messaged any survivors during or after the game to make any negative comments. I usually give everyone a thumbs up on the results board screen and add some friends.

However nice I might try to be, if I play 4 games and get 8 kills out of 16 possible, I will get 12 messages from toxic players.

Facecamper, tunneler, Gen patrol and the list goes on.

Well here are a few things that I have come up with in response to these ridiculous comments toxic nicknames.

1.) PALLETJOCKEYS... These are the survivors who spend the game vaulting and looping pallets.

My response to those people in game, is a missionary focus to see their character consumed. Hence the name Killer on my character.

2.) VAULTHUGGERS... These are the players who spend ridiculous amounts of time hurdling vault areas and looping vault locations.

My response to that gameplay is a focus to ko that character and see them devoured.

3.) CRACKERJACKERS.... These are the players who stalk you when you're trying to get survivors to the hook ( the primary goal of the killers ) and make you drop the survivor so you can go back into pallet jack mode.

These players are next to see the entity when I finally get them.

4.) HOOKBABIES...These are the sore losers, poor sports who have done everything to agitate the killer and then crybaby when they are finally hooked and the killer babysits them until they are dead.

5.) TEABAGGERS....Yep, these are the most toxic and sore losers in the game if and when you finally get one to the hook and guard them til consumed.

You play stupid games then win the stupid prizes.

I have tried everything in the killer mode to "play fair" or in accordance with the request of the survivor community comments.

I've just hunted and hooked then continued hunting just to gain useless points that won't buy any good upgrades or perks.

Camping, facecamping, palletjacking, PALLETJOCKEYS and all the other names bestowed aside, it's a game. Let's play it and everyone do your thing to win. After the game, if you're unhappy then just move on and keep doing what you do that you see no errors in and let people play the game.

It should be added that the Killers are not even Killers. They are wounders, maimers at best. A killer actually kills and these characters do not have the ability to do that.

In this game there are tons of things in favor of the survivors, lots of escapes and tools to make escape easier. Super fast Gen completions, there are no delayed seizures on survivors who successfully completed the generator. There are no stalls for running survivors who TEABAG killers either.

It's an awesome game full of frustrating glitches, unfair add one and ridiculous characters. I personally love the game and enjoy trying to get all 4 by any means the game allows.

So if you face me, I'll surely hook you and babysit that hook to get the rest of your team, try not to take it personally.

And camping is something you do in the woods with a tent....

It's just a game.

Welcome to DBD, i hope you enjoyed it so far and you will go on playing it.

Absolutly not. The most boring thing in this game is farming (but it can be nice for new players, that get rect very hard). I encourage every killer to give his best to get a 4K. I try my best aswell.

First of all, how is a 4V1 set up fair ?

Just because its 4v1 that does not mean anything. Numbers are irrelevant here.

You have a list of killers who are slow, clumsy and that are susceptible to a slew of moronic slow down stalls. When the killer actually gets a hit, they are rendered into seizure mode for a few seconds and the survivors bolt away with bursts of speed.

Those so called slow and clumsy killers with all their downside have a 60-70% killrate among all ranks. On red rank it is even worse. I dont want to say that killer is op or anything, but they are definitly not weak or have any disadvantage.

Survivors have tool boxes, power pick ups and of course, teammates sho can free them from hooks and heal them at what seems to be light speed. Killers have tunnel vision, easy to lose survivors in the chase.

Yes and the killer has nothing going for him? I dont even start with that, the list would be long. Just because the killer has 1st person, it does not mean anything aswell. Simple said, if you loose a survivor in chase, you are not good enough yet. And if you get outplayed, the Survivor might have been the better player in that situation.

I have never once messaged any survivors during or after the game to make any negative comments. I usually give everyone a thumbs up on the results board screen and add some friends.

Thats very nice and you should not change that attitude.

However nice I might try to be, if I play 4 games and get 8 kills out of 16 possible, I will get 12 messages from toxic players.

Really? I dont. I have not received a single negative comment on my steam wall so far (everyone can text their). Almost 2000 hours btw (1000 hours Killer).

Facecamper, tunneler, Gen patrol and the list goes on.

That might be the reason i dont get these messages. I never facecamp and i dont tunnel. I feel like a bad player if i would. But thats up to you i guess. "Gen patrol" is totally absurd. Anyway.. you can ignore these msgs, however you played, they are buthurt in the first place....

    PALLETJOCKEYS, VAULTHUGGERS, CRACKERJACKERS

    ???

So if you face me, I'll surely hook you and babysit that hook to get the rest of your team, try not to take it personally.

Nobody does, but dont be suprised when they are not happy about that. It is annoying when the killer can not play normally (same with survivors of course... nothing more annoying then someone who is farming the survivor in front of the killer for example..), its a bad experience, a waste of time and totally unnecessary.

    It's just a game.

True. Try to get the most fun out of it as possible. If you have fun camping a survivor, so be it, but expect other players to shame you. I would not do it, but i can understand why many are not super happy about that.

As a player you have some responsibilty, no matter on which side you are. Be respectful, and you will be treated with respect normally. And if the other side is disrespectful, be the bigger man and stay over it.

    Kind regards

  • Awesome comments

    Thanks

Oh and Pallet Jockeys....those are the ones who ride the pallets all game

Vault huggers are the ones that crawl into vault spots when down so you can't pick them up.

CRACKERJACKERS are the flashlight and firecracker people who make you go blind

Again all the items listed in the post are legitimate things the game allows...so I'm not complaining, I'm just saying that everyone should just play the best they can.
