Playing Against Baby Streamers
You know I would feel bad, but after that - I don't really mind that he was the first to die. In game he obviously didn't know any of the loops on Ironworks, and how much his friends ignored Generators to save him off hook / bodyblock for him. It was clear that they were SWF boosting their baby friend into red ranks for his "streaming career". It's good to see people helping, such a positive voice for DBD.
In other words entitled survivors attitudes is a problem, and this is how killer's are treated every match even when it was because of the other survivors they lost - not the Killer. What else was I gonna do? Go tap the wall on the other side of the map? I knew they weren't working on gens, they knew they weren't working on gens, but I get called a tunneler, and i'm bad because they decided to ignore their own objective.

Jesus I hope your not letting these messages get to you.

Oh they got to me long ago, it's literally like every game people are being treated like this. All because Survivor was made into such a relaxing - zero stress role, they feel like the power role, and get an entitled mentality to behave like this.
So I stopped playing trying to make the game fun for both sides, and just play how I want, and punish survivors every time I see them make a mistake. For example this Claudette who's friends couldn't perform a safe save.

Wait who doesn't bring a mori then they see twitch?
10 -
Whenever I am being harassed, I fight fire with fire and end up winning.
I can say extremely offensive stuff that gets to them and they become offended. It shows that they are a hypocrite and cannot handle the things I say.
Chances are, if you believe harassing is fine, then you would also be fine with what I say.
I am not afraid to speak my mind; I don't take kindly to those who harass others.

I've met some of the best people in this game through Twitch. Like Cahla, Biet, Rinka, Cynful, SirFabulous, Seaphoam, Iosefka, and Prof3ssor. So I opt not to take Mori's to leave a good impression when I find the streamers that actually have some decency and want to create positive/fun community's.

Oh it's very obvious, a monkey could make red rank survivor right now, they definitely didn't play like red ranks at all.
2 -
Ever since I made friends with some TTV people I started to do it a lot less. It was my old go to thing though I even made a thread. You would be surprised how many people do bring Mori's.
2 -
Yeah it was a joke because everyone does it.
1 -
I hope that by "extremely offensive" you don't mean stuff that's potentially bannable. Because if that's the case you're quite simply getting successfully baited.
Totally agree there's plenty of people that can dish it out but can't take it at all though.
2 -
Feel like killing them with kindness works better. Someone like this is likely to burst a blood vessel if you reply back "GG, hope everyone had a fun game"
3 -
Good that you killed them all. 👍️

🤢 Eww I hate people like this. As a survivor I will never understand why people act like this, they're basically rude little children who think they're tough.
I'm so glad we don't have chat on console. People have to go to your profile, make a group and then slowly type a message which means people usually don't bother.
2 -
Any one who flings the same insult over and over again, usually lacks the IQ because they can't think of something new to say. Survivors like this make us mains look bad, and swf.
1 -
If you're going to insult people, have a spell-chech handy. It really helps.
Also, keep it concise. Nobody likes a 50 message rant when 2 lines could do just fine.

I am a very small streamers myself and when I read chats like that it makes me sick. It does not matter how he thinks you have played, it is just so bad if someone says stuff like this. Don't let it get to you!
Also he was streaming, so he should be a role model and not an #########!

At the end of the day just say ggwp and move on man. A lot of people are like this overall on BOTH sides. They feel entitled to the 4k or entitled to escape. I've met some cool people in the end game chat. I play with them occasionally just don't let the toxic stuff bother you. You can tease them too as well about it. Always kinda fun.

I’m red rank actually right now hovering between rank 1-2, and I will be the first to admit I don’t deserve it. I’m not a very strong looper at all, but I do make smart saves and do gens so I guess that’s something. But I don’t consider myself anywhere near the best which is what rank 1 should be for.
I don’t even play survivor that much but it’s almost impossible to depip so it’s just 0, +1 or +2 every game until you’re red. Then the reset only forces you to pip 5 times to get back there I think?
1 -
Oh, I personally agree with that. I generally either just say gg or nothing unless someone else starts talking, and then I don't mean trash talk but if someone starts asking about someone's build or something funny that happened in the match.

I sometimes come back really freaky with some "Tell me more daddy <3", and "Oh baby yes, talk to me like that, that's how I like it". I don't know if I am pissing them off more, or creeping them out, though in my mind both those outcomes is what i'm aiming for.

Had a match where I got a 3k, and the guy who escaped started in on me. I just spent the entire time explaining how the devs claimed a 2k is a tie, and I thought I was gonna tie until I got the 3k so I win instead, yay. He pointed out he got more points thn me, so I just said "We BOTH win, YAY US!!! WE'RE WINNERS!!!"

Uhm didn't read it all cause it looks very long, so I'm going to say "Yes"

Reading those messages reminded me the definition of insanity
He said the same thing over and over again

If this is how the dude acts I can't imagine he's gonna get much traction with views. I wouldn't worry about them calling you a tunneler, cause honestly its part of the game. Shoulda ran DS and other anti-tunneling perks if they suck at looping.

And that's why streamers like that person will never have more than 2 viewers.
When someone says that to me "imagine needing to do this etc etc"....I just say "imagine dying" and leave. It will leave a wound on their ego that will fester and likely permanently damage their ego. It's quite satisfying.

Twitch streamers getting butthurt?! NO! Who woulda thought?!
1 -
Shut up, what you do don't matter

Just do yourself a favor and close the chat window. There is absolutely no point in talking to someone raging. It's not like you'll actually enlighten someone like that anyway.

He had 12

Oh man. Dude's on that partner push.

You had me up til the point you used the bs terms "entitled survivors". Entitled players is more like it. I have seen just as many killers act like that, even on these forums. Stop pointing to just one group when both are what screws things up in this game.
Aside from that, you are correct, it is nuts how a group can prop up a bad survivor right into red ranks.

Member of Team Lurkforce? Granted, there is a small market for that behavior, but they'll only grow to a point. They check off all the generic DbD streamer boxes. Only plays in SWF. Can't take an L. Etc. You can throw a dart at the directory in that viewer range and land on someone like that.

I check out streamers before, and after the match. Not during. Sorry but 10 seconds is a bit too long of a time to get information for me, also the added sound really messes with me playing.

"Entitled Killers" only come about because of the toxicity that is the entitled survivor mindset. I know that's what I've been through. I started playing this game caring about everyone's fun, not anymore. Now I use the best strategy's to win. A person can only be called racist slur's and told to die / get cancer so many times before they just stop caring about the other people behind screens.

That may be the case for you, but many survivor players I know have turned toxic over time because they are tired of either hardcore campers, tunneling, or smurf killers destroying low rank teams and laughing about it.
Both sides have entitled players and when you single out one side, you weaken your argument t/statement.
Personally, I've faced tons of both. Just watched my son play a match at rank 16 vs a very skilled Billy. He destroyed the team with an ebony mori, and made sure to act like a prick the whole time. He was a rank 18 with a name that implies he is taking revenge for Ruin changes. He admitted to the fact that it is his deranked smurf account and went on to brag about destroying low rank survivors.
Yep, that will help avoid creating more toxic survivors. Needless to say, my son thinks all killer mains are toxic pieces of s... Hard to argue based on his experience.
