Add a skin above prestige
Legacy was given to players who had a fully prestiged character "ages" ago. I understand legacy is now a very rare and special skin, but I feel like it would be really cool if the developers allowed players to go above prestige, and progress to a new skin. So, it would be the three levels of prestige like normal, but then you can keep going three more stages for prestige. Just a thought!

I think they could do this, but not to harm the og’s that originally got the legacies, you could only do it to 2 killers and 2 survs or every time a new killer and survivor is added you have can get the new legacy skins if you p3 before the next chapter

I don't have any legacy but it sounds horrible idea to bring back legacy skins.
This is OG thing.

Well the developers could make it different from legacy and it could be a whole new skin above prestige. I just feel like a lot of players are already P3 and we need something new that makes us want to gain more blood points.

devs have said many times legancy and and things looking like legacy will never be added

No the people who earned it are people who spent time during the early game when it had less of a following and put the time into it. Just because you want or need to have it does not mean it should happen.
BHVR is doing the same thing DE did for Excalibur Prime and associated weapons. If you invested back then you got it, but joined later you dont get that privilege. It's an exclusive to an older generation of DBD players and taking that away is not acceptable.
If you want something like Legacy, buy the hallowed blight outfits.

Console needs something like legacy

and yet we have the Blight skins

The devs have said that they promised not to bring back legacy and they are adamant on sticking to that, legacy will NEVER come back.

They need to bring something new into the game that is earned the same way that prestige is earned. Something that will make players want to play for instead of just buying it.

So you say ######### console player yes?

It sucks that the developers won't add legacy to console because I started playing DBD right when it came out on console. I didn't have a PC when DBD came out on it, so it was impossible for me to play it then. Otherwise I totally would have!

Well the person in question moved from PS4 to PC.
As I myself play on PS4 I couldn't give a toss about legacy skins. Hallowed blight skins look better anyway.

Legacy should remain special. It really is for the people who grinded and supported the game back when the game wasn't as popular as it is now.
To level and prestige now is super easy. As a console player with no legacy, I hope the Devs keep Legacy the way it is-- special.

If you want the original legacy skin, then i say no. This was only for people who earned it in the early days. I am not one of those, just saying.
If there should be some sort of new special skin after prestige, then i am okay with it. But i see one problem, that might make people upset. Many have their characters maxed out, and they would not be fine by starting at Zero. If you can level on top of your progess, this might be a good solution.

That's the point I'm trying to make. You keep your prestige, but you can go above your prestige and earn a new skin for your character that makes it special. I just feel like a lot of players already have prestige and there needs to be something new and unique that they can get for their characters that is not paid for.

Okay, sounds good for me at least, but again - not the original legacy skin.. something else :)

I agree, but what should they add? It can't be legacy or something like legacy. I was thinking it would be cool if they added Blue and green variations for consoles.
Considering I'm on PS4 and PC yet it don't bother me then I guess so if that's how you want to take it. Your not entitled to anything, you dont get it because your on console, and most importantly it's an exclusive you personally wont be able to get along with many others. There are dozens if not hundreds of games that have exclusives that won't be returning. Its best to accept the fact and move on.

I really don't care about what you play on please my friend don't make lie about entitle is very disgust behaviour
When R* make dukes non exclusive to return players I didn't say other shouldn't get. entitled is saying others shouldn't get just becusee I want keep muh exclusivity for clout

Cool idea, it could be like ice instead of fire.

Sorry a lot of people just feel they entitled to have it because they play DBD. My feelings remain the same it was an exclusive item that wont make a return. Would people enjoy it definitely without a doubt, but we as console players didn't make the cut off due to release. With BHVR deciding to try and shorten the exclusives between PC and Console this remains the last true Exclusive and I highly doubt they are gonna budge on that fact.
Who's R* ?
Yep I just felt it would be nice to console players.

Prestige rewards are pretty meh imo. A bloody version of the default cosmetic isn't really flashy for me. I wouldn't want a Legacy outfit on console either or anything similar to it, as others have said, it takes away value from others that do have them. Personally, I'd prefer charms linked to the characters that go beyond P3 as a reward, then at least it's all fresh and it doesn't devalue cosmetics.

Rockstar games.

it would be cool to have an extra prestige cosmetic that's based on what console you play aka an xbox one is themed Around green and the same goes for ps4 with its blue and switch for whatever it's colours are

The only thing I could see happening is being able to bloody up outfits once you reach P3-50. However, this would take an extensive amount of work for the developers and long ago, confirmed not being added due to the roadmap. 😁
If you're talking about Legacy, the developers don't want to break promises with the people who earned them. However, if the developers were to give a fair way for players who couldn't get them and the legacy people are fine with it that, then I think they could do an event every year and two weeks prior to the Legacy cut off date.
Basically, during the event, if you are P3-50, you can reset your bloodweb to P0-1 and you will be given the old bloodwebs. There will be two types of BP: Legacy BP, the amount of BP you would've earned if you played back then, and regular BP you earn from present matches. Legacy BP aren't affected by multipliers and use the old scoring system to grant you Legacy BP. You can only progress the old Bloodweb by spending Legacy BP and to earn a full Legacy outfit, you must reach P3-50 by the end of the event. Failing to do so will change your bloodweb back to the original one and you remain at whatever prestige/level your character is at.

I would rather have an option to use the prestige blood on every cosmetics.

I always loved the idea of being able to choose which top, bottom, or head you wanted to prestige.
0 -
That explains a lot I generally dont enjoy the games they make so I avoid them.
0 -
Explains what exactly?
0 -
Why I didn't realize it.
0 -
I don't think this is needed personally. Legacy was a one off thing when the bloodwebs were a lot tougher than they are now. Also, there's now a cosmetic store that people can purchase items from - I don't see the need to offer any new type of Prestige other than the current Prestige cosmetics. The grind to get every single character to P3 is tough enough.
1 -
Let me tell you something

The game is already a huge grind fest. We don't need the grind to strengthen. I feel that after you hit P3-50 then you should be allowed to chose one rare or very rare shop cosmetic (no event cosmetics).

Or make a new legacy prestige, maybe recolor it or smth
2 -
They already harmed the OG's. A huge percentage of them lost their legacy prestige skins due to a game save bug back in the day.
0 -
Meh. The game is already grindy enough. You'd be better of putting points into a different character instead of sinking them into a main over and over.

Seems like a very cool idea. I feel like they need to create more outfits that blend in, instead of these bright clothes that make hiding impossible.
