Face Camping (Face Cam) Because Killers Are Upset
This nonsense of face camping someone over half way through the game because they're good has got to go. This can no longer be a supported "play style?" because it's the epitome of trolling. You legit have the power to make me sit there and do nothing so that's exactly what you're going to do. Because you're upset. No one should feel entitled to kills or escapes. However the way this community acts in game is as if that's how they want things to be. Like bubbas chainsaw rev that grants loads of camping, or spirit still being able to go half way across the map every 20 seconds. Now I have to abandon people and deal with NOED every single game too, I can't get every totem every round don't give me that bs I get 2-3 myself it takes up time.

Unironically let campers camp, they are the only ones losing, survivor will most probably pip from the chase and gen emblems and killer depips because all 5 gens got done and he only sacrificed one survivor trough facecamp

Its the paradox of being a survivor.
Lose a chase in 5 seconds? You get tunneled out because you’re easy prey.
Loop the killer for a few minutes? You get facecamped because the killer is upset you’re a better player than them.
You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Post like these make me want to main toxic facecamping Bubba. Like I am already starting to play toxic in targeting players trying to complete survivor sided rift challenges and tunneling them out. Davids and Janes be getting first hooked mori for the next week and a half. Maps be getting franklin'd. No playing Anne Frank in the lockers when you are exhausted on cooldown. No mither just ######### themselves and their team as normal.
You know, playing toxic is kind of fun as killer.

face caming is when they camp you by staying in your face so all you see is them on the screen staring at you. it wasn't a typo, but its the same as just saying face camping, give or take lol

There is a 3rd option. Take a dive around 45 to 60 seconds into a chase. Then you aren't easy prey nor should you have made things personal with the killer. There are no guarantees what the killer will do regardless. But most killers shouldn't get too angry that way.

But your buddies can gen rush and then help you escape easily. Just invite your friends to play with you like everyone else does. I also only face camp trolls. If their buddy tries to save them then I replace them instead on the hook. It's my anti bullying playstyle.

I feel like I need to stop playing this game if it gets any worse than this, I never asked for more objectives to do in a round, i never asked for a ruin nerf, and now i deal with this every day.
It's a great game but bullying? really I don't understand why people use their feelings as an excuse to abuse the gameplay.

I agree that facecamping and tunnelling is bad but survivors throw out those words way too easily. Not all cases of the killer being somewhat near a hook is facecamping and usually the killer isn't making a concious descision to tunnel anyone most of the time.

Honestly, just let them. They get nothing out of it. It doesn't help you master anything and arguably makes you worse. Killers are already painful as it is so if one wants to get butt hurt over you being the better player let them. Just means you won the psych war. I'm a killer main btw.

I like running it on one hit down killers for the extra salt. Its just that lil extra something that sets survivors off in end game chat.

So here's the thing: if you're getting face camped in lower ranks, they're probably new, don't know better, or frustrated, especially recently, given the matchmaking issues with the rank mixing nonsense.
If you're getting into green ranks, it's usually one of the previous reasons noted, or because you made mistake, and they're going to capitalize on it because the gap in skill is obvious enough to them that they feel the need to remove you before you're anymore of a problem them you may have been already.
In purple and red ranks, it's usually a troll or meme build doing exactly that. So if you're getting face camped that often, I'd figure out what mistakes you're making that keeps getting you caught. Because ultimately, it's YOUR fault. Killers don't really have as huge an advantage in a chase as they probably should, so if you've been looping them a long time and get caught, then it's more likely because you made a mistake, were over reliant on pallets, or allowed bloodlust to build up too far.
It's sometimes just bad luck, too. Either way, if you're getting face camped, it's a good opportunity to let the rest fix gens and such. Being the hero that way kinda sucks, but you aren't getting out of every game alive. That's just the way it is.

Devs said facecamping is a strategy and not bannable for that reason. Just move on to the next game.

This is example of "mindset", people play the game much differently, some get upset by BM and some see it as a challenge.
Instead of getting mad at them, it would be smart to try and help preventing that stuff cause of anger.

If you are complaining about face camping there are options either stop struggling or don't get hooked.
Can't complain about a face camper wasting your time when you choose to struggle the killer only chooses to secure the kill you choose to prolong it not the killer I can link a video for youif you want

if you facecamp, the survivor usually DCs after the struggle ends. you get zero kills, and your bummer doesn't get quelled. then you have to face a fleet of tbags at the exit gate. its not good for your mental state.

Were the killers upset? Maybe, or maybe not? Maybe they were playing the game the way they enjoyed it, nobody will know. You however seem very upset, to the point you get on the forums to post a discussion on the subject.
Being forced to abandon people is part of the game, its a choice. You even see it in the original trailor for the game. NOED is easily counterable, i cleanse 4-5 totems most matches just on my own because I build my perks around it. Or bring a map instead of another toolbox. Run kindred to see if the killer is camping and if they are do gens and get out its simple, easy, and effective.

I have been hooked in basement and patrolled told teammates to do gens and they ignore and get themselves hooked in basement

I'm saying: if the killer is gonna facecamp you, at least think of the other 3 players and give them the Time they Need to do generators so the killer doesn't get to facecamp the next guy
And by the way; don't say "don't get caught". Like 95% of dedicated killers "win" the Chase at some point. Especially if it's a chainsaw killer like Bubba

You realise leatherface is the easiest killer to loop right? You can't complain about being bored when facecamped when you have the opportunity to end it yourself.
There are enough pallets on a map to loop any killer for 5 generators so yes don't get caught if you get facecamped and decide to struggle reflect on the actions that led up to that point. If you get hit position yourself better or put a pallet down quicker if you know the connection isn't stable, know the correct way on certain loops.
There's no reason for any survivor to complain about being having their time wasted by being facecamped because survivors can choose to end it at anytime if you choose to struggle clearly it is not a waste of time to you. Leather face isn't worth playing unless you want to challenge yourself or set out to camp in the first place.

The only valid complaints can be when a killer is streamsniping, purposely going after you specifically or lag switching/cheating any other time you go down the hook is on you for not playing the loop optimal or being out positioned. If op truly believed the killer was wasting his time he wouldn't struggle on hook he would go on to the next game.
Really no reason for this post to exist. Facecamping only exists because survivors will throw themselves at the killer desperate for altruism and feed the killer kills if it wasn't so effective it would rarely be encountered

If a survivor gets downed how is it not their fault? Also you just don't put pallets down and make him basic attack get the speed boost and reposition.

The chainsaw sucks that's why he's easy to loop. You realise that it's a 4v1 and the deck is stacked in the survivors favor.
If you go down to a killer and you have the maps and perks in your favor that's a problem with your decision making so again reflect on the choices you made that led to the killer catching you.
