Because there aren't enough killer players to fill out every match, so current matchmaking keeps grabbing anybody it can, no matter the rank.

Matchmaking is bugged. They are working on a new system that they plan to test soon.
Edit: It's also probably a killer shortage :v

The safe area for ranks slowly expands as time goes on. Either the killer of head of SWF/solo(s) have been searching for a while.

Hey you did alright, when I get those matches (I am also a 16 killer) I get like 10000 bp.

Just figured it was another killer complaining about MM 🤣, because it is so broken. My average rank difference lately as been about 8. Rarely get game with like ranked survivors.

They can keep working as much as they want, without killer player base nothing will help it. Even if they stricktly forbid to get that low or high rank, then only q-time will skyrocket.
