My thoughts on reworked Bubba
He'll be able to chainsaw parts of the walls down to increase his chase potential
His chainsaw will have a cooldown but his movement will increase while charging
He'll no longer be able to hit multiple survivors, that or speed limiter base and addons needed for insta down
And maybe he'll get more survivor masks.
Just theories maybe some of them will go through

I'd like to see it in action.
I've literally waited for people to be unhooked with LF, knowing they'll have BT, and downed them and the rescuer immediately after thanks to the way his saw operates.
I'm assuming the same can happen if you pop Agent or MoM, but I could be wrong.

I play both sides, she's fine. She's always been weaker on console, good nurses were so oppressive even with basekit that it needed a change. Survivors didn't stand a chance against good nurses

How is spirits window vault nerf comparable to huge basekit reworks? Spirits baskekit wasn't touched her power is still the same.she just got an animation change. That isn't comparable to the nurse, doctor and freddy changes.

They destroyed her basekit cause she litrally broke the game. They buffed freddy and doc 2 of the weakest killers in the game. Do you really think there gonna nerf leatherface? Arguably the weakest killer in the game

Well, when Freddy came out, he was already pretty mediocre. Different, which was cool, but as a killer with potential to kill, he was really bad.
Literally hours after he came out, survivors were whining about him, and he got nerfed.

edit: Clown IS good in a chase actually. This is widely acknowledge. Its his map pressure that leaves him im a weak position. The fact that you think hes weak in a chase shows you obviously don’t know how to play him and likely get looped for 5 gens.

Not every hit of billy is an instadown he has m1 you know? Why do you derail the thread on billy when it is about bubba? Who made you the authority on what is meant to be? As far as I know billy is quite a long time in the game, very odd for something that isn't meant to be.

It would be great when they adjust his saw and make it similar to the one of billy, meaning you are actually in control of rev. I think that is one of the most dumb charge mechanics in the game if not the dumbest.
Can't be only me who charged up the saw, ready to let it rip only to see him go back cause there was a pixel missing.

I think Bubba need a total rework, a secondary power instead of his multi-insta-down ability, because right now there is no advantage to play Bubba instead of Billy.

Okay? And it's your problem and failure if you're going down to his saw consistently. A good player won't find themself going down too often to a chainsaw. LF's power is literally the most useless version of an instadown there is. It relies on the player being absolutely clueless. You can definitely tell that you don't do well or understand how to play correctly against Billy players.

Instadowns and high speed are all that Billy has. Good survivors can still run Billies for years and I'm sure you know this, because if you're an experienced survivor, you shouldn't have much trouble going against them. I won't argue that getting constantly back-revved isn't annoying because it kind of is, but that's entirely on you if you've positioned yourself badly that much throughout the match. You can dislike Billy all you want but saying his basekit is too strong is just wrong since there's pretty obvious counterplay to his power, you just need to git gud to counter it. I'd agree that his add-ons need a change though since tuning guide, Thompson's Mix are actually so BS.

Hillbilly is OP? Yes, if you run in a straight line whilst he is rushing at you is OP as #########, but our boosted Kate main @ClickyClicky is one of that survivors which don't even realize when he is rushing to a generator and she get instantly crushed and stuck into the ground. I would stop listening a single word said by this guy if I were you and start actually looking at how much killers are underperforming after 3 or 4 patch-nerfs in few months. Most of them need reworks, others are balanced like the Hillbilly and don't need anything.. still others are a bit weak but still fun to play due their playstile (Doctor, Trapper, Clown) and Noed helps them against solid teams. Myers is in a mid way between weak and balanced becouse he has in-build Noed at least.

I can't be respectful towards someone who is derespecting the fun of his opposing gameplay part. Sure I keep complaining towards survivors being OP in some ways but I never come and say they should be nerfed into hell becouse I want easy 4ks.
Though, if I keep replying to his dumb comments I will probably get banned forever.

They may make him somewhat more enjoyable to play, but make no mistake that they will nerf him by reducing his ability to camp since we get several threads about camping every day. Gotta keep the new players rolling in.

I mean a perfect example of BHVR mucking up a killer is literally Legion, the mending exploit and moonwalk exploit could have been easily fixed without destroying the killer, but BHVR went nerf or nothing, and then they decided to nerf him again when Nurse was nerfed.
I expect them to do the same to Bubba.

Old Legion was not healthy at all for the game.
He could tunnel you down with his ability and there was no counterplay to it, you make him miss? Oh he can just keep swinging and one of them will hit you.
Let's also not forget the nightmare that was Frank's Mix Tape and Cold Dirt.

Like I said, you're not countering a good nurse by running in a straight line. If you get countered by that, you're not a good nurse. If you counter a nurse doing that, that nurse was not a good nurse.

This is the problem. There is such a divide between where killers think the balance is and where it actually is.
You tell me I need to “git gud” but how many times have the devs come out and said killers are doing just fine? It’s not just the data they’ve explicitly said it a number of times. You really think if killers were as weak as you feel they wouldn’t be buffing them to balance out the game?
Killer will always feel more intense than survivor because you’re on your own and the workload isn’t shared out across 4 people.
The thing is though people like you have a tough game and then come here into this echo chamber and assume that the devs are survivor mains, hate killers, all sorts of conspiracy theories and believe that killers are massively underpowered. Killers are doing just fine....which kind of indicates that everyone else is doing ok then perhaps the problem lies with you.

Slow killers are a prank in the current gen rush meta, but this is fine... For one who's carrying biased thoughts sure, it's fine, but I want to play actually both killer and survivor. No way I'm forced to play your side to have fun otherwise I get bullied by M1 Simulator. No no baby Kate, no no.

With red ranks being watered down killer has literally never been easier.
You’re only going to struggle if you go against 4 godlike survivors and the odds of having 4 of them in one game are extremely low. Even the best swf groups often have a weak link or two.

I'd love to struggle but we are denied even to do this . Until you will don't play a single match as a standard 4,6 ms killer you will never realize how bullshits are blasting with your "Hillbilly OP" comments. Against good survivors is not struggle, is a free defeat, and you can't do so much to stop them unless starting with dirty tactics (which I hate)

See, in the other thread you told me I need to “git gud” I believed you used but here you are saying that a 4.6m killer is a “free defeat”.
I sympathise with you if you’re not enjoying the game but its likely your problem is due to ranks being messed up. You’re likely going against people with far more experience than you.
Upload some gameplay footage to youtube and we can analyse why the games fee like a free defeat. Message me privately if you dont want it public. Alternatively send the video to people like tofu, fungoose etc I think a lot do gameplay analysis for players now. Theres likely something your missing.

People I'm facing are not more experienced than me. Some of my chases last less of 20 seconds, they make mistakes over mistakes, but if they put effort in M1, most of the times is a undeserved win for them. If you pair M1 effort with high looping skill is 0k ensured.
If me as killer do just a couple of stupid mistake I'm currently risking to mess up my entire game. A lag issue prevented me to get an important hit? 1 more gen somewhere will be fixed. This is why killers are underperforming. For those who say Hillbilly/Spirits are OP, well, you mess up a couple of chainsaw/phasewalk for any reason? Never mind if it was your fault or something else, you messed, you deserved to lose momentum. Whilst survivors? Just do gens. That's all.
I've suggested a very smart change for NOED which could solve this situation but IDK if they will care, basically I asked if it doesn't one-strike players anymore and rather locks gates panels for 100/110/120 seconds to stop this braindead gen rush. It's a cool idea, but I REALLY DK if they will care.

Killers aren’t underperforming though that’s the point. I don’t think Spirit is OP, just Billy. I’m in the same camp as @PigMainClaudette where I think he’s too strong for how easy he is to use.
I admit I thought Pig was weak but @Almo said she was doing too well to be given a buff.
Now the reasons for that can be debated and that’s what we often do (I personally believe NOED is fudging the numbers to some degree on weaker killers) however the point is that whatever the reasons, killers are not underperforming at the moment hence why there isn’t a rush to buff them.
I think we have agree that toolboxes aren’t needed to be so strong in the current game and they are being looked into. Likewise I think we have all agreed that some maps are too big which limits killer/survivor interaction, Red Forest being a good example.
