Maining specific survivors.
There's a reason why people main specific Killers. Maybe strength, preferred playstyle, but I wonder about the other side. I ask you, survivor mains of the Fog, do you main a specific Survivor? Survivors don't have something others don't, they have teachables, but those are shared with others, so I'm rather curious as to why people main specific ones. If you do main a specifc Survivor, who, and why do you?

People like certain cosmetics. Also certain survivors have in-game advantages. Ace is extremely quiet, almost built-in Iron Will. Claudette can be very difficult to see aka Blendette. Feng is very small, which allows easier hiding.

So some Survivors (technically) have built in abilities? I had no idea about Ace, but I have heard the term Blendette thrown around before.

No. They are only different when it comes to visuals and sound, which can translate to in-game advantages. Blendettes are difficult to see simply because of their cosmetics.

I main Dwight, Nea, Feng. I like them for their look
Don't care about any of the others tbh I only play them for dailies/challenges

Well, all the survivors are only skins, unlike killers. With killers, it makes sense to put a lot of Bloodpoints into all of them since they each play differently. However, because each survivor is the same other than their appearance, it makes sense to pick just one or two to focus Bloodpoints into.
I chose the survivors I main based on their appearances (Kate, Yui) and who they are (Ash).

I main Kate cause she's hot as hell and great to look at. I wish I could say there was more to it than that, but it is what it is. Even if I lean towards the menfolk myself, they really aren't much to look at and picking the survivor skin is all about aesthetics.
