DS Gets a bad rap. Borrowed time is the most toxic survivor perk
i see a lot of hate for DS, but you can counter that very easy by just leaving them for a minute then hooking them. but borrowed time, you get cocky survivors running straight to the hook and unhooking in front of you . i think borrowed time is the most toxic survivor perk not DS.
whos with me?

No one is with you, both perks are toxic as it is but serve a purpose to discourage tunneling, what you can do to go against it is instead hit the unhooker and down him asap and trade, for ds, you can either choose to down the survivor for bait or eat the ds if you still want to tunnel for the first kill

BT you can simply chase them for 15 secs then hit them. People with BT can try to body block their savior but you can usually go around them. Some killers can remove their tr and remove BT from even activating.
DS on the other hand. I can hook a guy, leave him, find and down another person. The first guy gets saved+heals up then he saves the person I found after him. I down the first guy again and DS is STILL ready.
BT ensures the safety of your teammate. DS just helps you. It only lasts a brief time where DS lasts an entire minute of immunity. So I consider BT to be more balanced and party friendly.

I can chase the guy with BT for 15 seconds, but on the other hand, someone can run DS and Unbreakable and there is nothing I can from stopping them from doing that.

Survivor perks aren't toxic, but DS is definitely a bit more abusable than other survivor perks.

Imo Object of Obsession is the most toxic as most people will use it to give all info to their swf team and then will sit there pointing or whatever when they know they are out of range and you can't get them. Any defensive perk used in a brash offensive strategy as a get out of jail free is annoying.

OP's username rings a bell. Or more specifically, raises a red flag.

BT does have a counter. Hit the unhooking survivor. I spend a large portion of most endgames trading off survivors on the final hook.
3 -
I mean, if they run right up to the hook like that unless you mess up you get to down them more or less for free? And if they do that it's pretty obvious they have BT in the first place, so you can remember to down them instead of the unhooked player.

I stopped caring about bt and ds since ruin change, if they unhook on front of me I'll go for the unhooked person if they got ds I'll tunnel them into the ground.

Perks aren't toxic. Game mechanics aren't toxic. Players are toxic, or not, regardless of what build they're using. Please stop throwing that word around, it's in danger of losing all meaning if people keep using it as a catch-all to mean "I don't like this thing".

You WOULD say that as a toxic survivor main...lol

My little tip to counter borrowed time bodyblock: I don't hit the bodyblocker until the first bloodlust because that take the same time of BT.

Can also grab them if they go for a vault.

Those are the few times I'm glad I main trapper. Trap the locker and leave. They aint getting out unless they got help. Preferably a honing stone add on.

Hit the survivor going for the unhook. He pauses to unhook, you’ll quickly be able to hit him again before he gets to a pallet.
There you go you just avoided BT and DS and got a free hook trade.
People are too focussed on tunnelling the person who just got unhooked.

BT and DS together are the most annoying during the end game collapse. I don't like when Survivors are using both in a build.

What makes you think he is a toxic survivor main? He said perks arent toxic that applies to both killer and survivor. Just because he has a different opinion then you dosent make him a toxic survivor main. Killers always say tunneling and camping isnt toxic cause its playing optimally. so why shouldn't survivors use there perks and items optimally? And he is correct the perks arnt toxic its the player who is toxic. Why do player have to be so entitled?

DS during EGC can literally be a free win.

Tell that to Head On and OoO.

Really there's no such thing as a toxic perk, toxicity comes from behavior
3 -
Just to let you know, hitting someone off the hook is not tunneling, get it in you head, tunneling is focusing on one person the entire game not hooking one person, knocking them down again hooking them and leaving them. TUNNELING IS ALL GAME survivors just want to whine and complain
1 -
Tunneling isn't all game, devs have confirmed
1 -
Why go after the unhooked survivor? They were most likely an innocent victim of the savers stupidity.

Was just a running joke mate. I constantly chime in when I see him in a thread and say something about him being a something something survivor main.
1 -
Just out of curiosity, would you mind linking the spot that the devs themselves have defined tunneling?

Oh lol sry then

Maybe cause people are on diffrent teams in order to win you punish mistakes.

It's 4V1, not 1v1. The team pays for the mistake they did

its ok, lol

Would anyone like me to post a video of what survivors think killers do every single game, I will tunnel and face camp. I will use NOED, BBQ Rancor and Lullaby. I will also be a huntress with iridescent heads and the infantry belt??

If there's anything toxic survivors do, it's abusing hitboxes to be invincible clipping into their mate who's on the hook. That ######### is annoying as all hell and brings the game to a halt.
Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Adrenaline.. Survivors get a tonne of stupid crutch perks I strongly disagree with >_>

The only time I tunneled is if there's one Gen left or the gates are powered, hopefully by that point I have at least 2 dead (8 out of 10 games) if not Im most likely going to lose anyway. Tunneling someone straight off a hook takes no skill so I'd rather not. So BT is ok by me.

They both are OP perks. Only reason why survivors use different types of perks is there are many OP survivors perks (borrowed, DS, deadhard, sprint, unbreakable, Ironwill, spine chill, and etc). They are really OP with easy condition to use and great performances.

Thats playing toxic cuz ds function were not giving inmunity for 60 secs just avoid tunneling and BT avoid tunneling not cover another survivor. I would nulify endurance effect if you get a protection hit event or distraction.
