Protection hits bugged?
I have been trying to get the David archive where I must get a protection hit. I've been trying to get it for three games now and the game is not giving me a protection hit even though I have taken hits when the killer is carrying someone and hits when I'm right behind the survivor. I'm not only not getting the archive achievement, but also not getting we're gonna live forever stacks. Is anyone else having the same issue?

Ok so now protection hits are finally registering for some reason. Looks like it truly was just bugged for all those games until it decided to work. At least now I finally have page 1 of the archives done.

It is buggy, yes, that's why MoM is such a terrible perk. Your best bet is to bring borrowed time and unhook someone infront of the killer to take a hit for them

I've done that but it still doesn't register as a protection hit. I haven't seen anyone else have this issue, but I doubt it has something to do with my game specifically considering protection hits worked fine before.

My game is usually good with protection hits, especially after the patch that improved them. Might have something to do with Dedicated Servers or the game not recognising a carried/hooked survivor as injured? Not entirely too sure.

I got two protection hits in the same match and it didn't give me the master challenge.

You can take protection hits if the killer is carrying someone and you block him. That will always count as protection hit as far as I know.

Yeah they always has been, it's easier if you take Sprint Burst and Empathy. Then when you see someone injured in chase. Sprint to the chase, hide, and when the killer downs then, and picks them up. Take 2 hits while the killer is carrying the survivor.

Did you get the protection hit scoring event during the game? Because it's not giving me the scoring event.

It showed 2 stacks on WGLF and didn't give me the challenge

Well for me it didn't even give me stacks so maybe protection hits and archives are just straight up busted depending on the person.

I just got it now.
I rushed the hooked and let the killer hit me before unhooking and after I unhooked. Got two protection scores on screen +100 and +200 Make sure you have BT too

I'm surprised no one else here is having the same issue as the OP. Yes, me too man. Standing right beside injured survivors and taking a hit is not working a lot of the time for WGLF and neither is taking a hit when the killer is carrying a survivor. Only thing that works consistently is safe unhooks. Seems obviously bugged to me
