I D/C'd for the first time last night
Was playing SWF with 2 friends and had a rando. Hag in autohaven. 1 gen left, downed twice, got saved by my friend but I set off a trap that I didn't even know she placed and my poor Jane (aka Miss Thicc) got downed again instantly. I slammed my fist into the desk, left voice chat, and D/C'd. Quite frankly, I'm embarrassed.
Do I feel good about D/Cing? Absolutely not, as it goes against everything I've said about D/C'ers.
Is my hand okay? I think I might've sprained my pinky.
Long story short: Deep breaths. It's just a game and honestly not worth almost breaking a finger over.

You kinda called yourself out, which is good. Remember not to take things too seriously in this game! Just move along to the next match!

i DC ever now and than as survivor for a variety of reasons, mainly if i wont get any progress on the challenge im doing not so much if i get downed first or camped/tunneled. However as a killer i almost NEVER DC, even if im getting destroyed. I think im all my games as killer i have only DC 2 or 3 times and that was when I was still new to this game and faced swf red rankers in low ranks,

I think almost everyone has had moments like these. Sometimes frustration can get the better of us but feeling bad about doing it once says a lot about yourself.
The problem dcers generally don't feel bad and take it as a win. Dcing for anything and everything just because they feel they can and should be allowed too.

I hope I never react liuke this, ever

It's embarrassing, to say the least. So yes, don't ever react like this. Or, if anything, just take a break if you feel yourself getting angry.

If you are that frustrated maybe take a break from the game. This is supposed to be enjoyable. A little stressful but still enjoyable.

Wow, that is embarrassing
take a break if you're being frustrated

Is this the only game where people feel the need to confess about their rage quit?

I can say I never DC'd. I played for a good bit like a year after launch and just returned a few weeks ago. It's crossed my mind more than once but never done it. If I get super pissed I might suicide, depending on the situation (like the rest of the team is going to escape,or I'm hopelessly outmatched). Ive even given up as last man standing...just to have the killer drop me at the hatch lol.

If you let a game make you get angry like that, you don't need to be playing. Games are meant to be fun and clearly you're not having fun so you need to stop for at least a while.

I did DC last nite was against a survivor friends Waited and did a blood warden then here come the posse, they all had time to heal up ,throw there fire crackers ,unhook and run across the forest to the end, they took turns body blockin, till the gate, after they took out my noed earlier, then even trowel in a couple teabags ,wanted to jump in the game and literally start hacking away for reals.so frustrated I could DC fast enuff lol

I can't count how many times I did ######### that killed my teammates but we just laugh it off with the one on the wrong acting like an ass or apologizing

Can relate, I have ragequitted 2 times as killer and both of them felt goddamn awful, Id rather hear the entity displeased sound after depipping than having to disconect on purpose again.

Some of the comments here are total BS. All those ppl saying it's 'embarrassing' or 'I would never do that' are total fibbers, guarantee you've all done this. I don't mind admitting I have a few times. The reason the game is so addictive is the love / hate relationship we have with it.

I've DC'd before. I'm sure more than half of the community has done it once.
