Primus Coins?

For those of you who don't know the Primus Coins are the tome 2 charms. We already have 2 of those.

What to they symbolize? Are they a chapter 15 teaser?

The first one is actually kind of interesting. It's a man looking at a sand clock.(No ######### you say)

The sand clock is a simbol for time, right?Does it mean we will be taken back in time for this chapter?

Now the back of the first coin is the real stuff.I really can't make out what this is but it looks like some sort of a cult thing. It looks outlandish and alien. Also, the simbol on the big block also looks like the logo of the game.(although the last straight mark is missing.)

The second coin is basically the same as the first only at the front with a different color.

At the back theres some weird looking crow and behind it theres a moon, or is it a sun?

From what i can gather for chapter 15 we will be taken to other dimensions and a parallel earth. This sounds very exciting because this will be the first time we get a realm that is not on the Earth we know of.

Ofcourse this all could also not be in relation to chapter 15 and it's just some cool thing that the devs put so we know that the Entity has possessions of other worlds.

Time travel sounds like a plausible theme.

The thing on the first coin looks like a door or a locker to me (portal?). But the thing on it is not a DBD symbol, there are only 3 stripes.

The crow has 6 eyes, whatever that could mean. Maybe new killer will make crows useful? Spies from the Shadows meta?

I said it looks like the dbd logo i didn't say it was the same.

My point is that it has no connection, because DBD logo is 4 vertical lines crossed out, this is 3 vertical lines, middle one being wider than others

So the new killers name is mud? Should have some good chase music.

I was just pondering this myself.

I like the idea of a time traveler, perhaps the next survivor/killer found a way to manipulate the entity and its realms to travel between worlds?

I could also see it being an outsider(not already in the fog) who found out about the entity and started figuring out ways to harness its power for time travel.

Either way, it appears the traveler left an impact on the people of Terra Primus, either by staying as a false god or simply due to the people seeing him and assuming he is a god because of his 'powers'. The image of the fabled traveler lives on even though this traveler mysteriously disappeared one day. Of course, his disappearance was due to the entity finally being able to trap him in one of their realms.

I could see the traveler being either the killer or the survivor. As a killer the kit would probably be a bit more interesting. Perhaps manipulating the entity for so long twisted his mind and this is what led him to destroy the entire civilization of Terra Primus? This act left him vulnerable to the entity and that's how he was trapped. Or perhaps he is the traveler who just finally got caught and is a survivor who knew too much and is forced into the trials, either way it could be an interesting story with more thought.

Also, could just be a survivor/killer combo from another planet and that's it. No tie in to the entity they just have other world backstory which would be equally neat.

Going to take a whole different route here. These coins were found on planet “Primus” right? The crow is definitely odd and coveted in what looks to be moonlight- perhaps symbolising the Entity’s trials? The giant structure on the bronze coin is reminiscent of the DBD logo, vaguely resembling a door even. May be a bit of a stretch but maybe this is proof that knowledge of the Entity exists elsewhere in the universe, planet “Primus”. Considering this is on the back of a coin, maybe this is a form of currency on Primus and therefore could hint to the Entity being worshipped and known as sovereign there? I’m not sure at all, I’m just pulling theories out of nowhere for this one... maybe we’ll get the answer by the 4th level of the tome through the Revelations or the Observations stories? Only time will tell.

So I was curious if Terra Primus existed within some other movie lore I was unaware of. As far as I can tell it is only a not very well known book series and more interestingly a magic card.

Why is the magic the gather card more interesting, you ask?

To me, it resembles a certain sci-fi monster... remind you of anyone (aside form the laughing eel)?

I know it's a stretch but it's kind of funny considering all of the Alien talk I have seen lately, would love to see Alien in DBD.

Ok one more thing to add while I still have my tinfoil hat on:

Terra Primus is a French book (which many devs speak) and I have only been able to find an excerpt from it, which I Google translated:

"Excerpt from the speech of Ardal de Strop guardian of the Sanctuary: 'The dark times have arrived. It is time to start your mission in the greatest secrecy. As in all life, the evolution of our world has begun. The Earth is freed from the cancer that eats away at it Man as we know it will gradually disappear. We are not superior beings but the evolution of an organism living on this planet ... Beware of mirrors of power no one should sink into the song of corruption where vile unscrupulous beings seek to remove you from your mission ... 'Within the Sanctuary of Terra Primus a group of men and women carrying within them the hope of Humanity will have to fight in the face of unsuspected forces. At the same time in the Universe other powers clash."

Seems creepy enough to fit in with typical DBD lore and the book is titled Terra Primus. This basically proves nothing, but is interesting and if anyone knows anything about this book perhaps they can draw some better conclusions.

To me, it seems like the first and third coin is like someone observing time frozen. Since the hourglass is lying flat, time has stood still and can't move, kind of like the Realm of the Entity. And who observes in this realm? The Observer from the Tomes. Could be he's somehow connected to the Entity, maybe even works with it? The second, the one with the symbol, kind of looks like a monolith. Maybe a shrine where people worshipped it, linking the Entity to some sort of deity or god-like figure that had a following. The final coin, the 3-eyed crow, seems again linked to the Entity. We know the Crows in the trials are essentailly alarms for Killers as they alert the killer to any survivor, but it also does the same for survivors. It could be the crow represents 'Being watched'. Like, no matter what you do, the Entity will always know. That's my take on these coins. Heck, could be wrong and the coins mean nothing, but it's still fun to speculate into this kinda stuff.

The clock on it's side reminds me of the symbol for infinity

Well what about the first archive where it talked about the alchemist, that siren like person which could be a new killer and then that cult for the entity. The cult could be part of the meaning of these tokens

I also wanted to add that I am almost certain that the symbol on the second coin is a variation of the DBD symbol - not the three orange strokes, but the five black ones. It's very clear to me that, like the tally mark in the logo, the four smaller strokes represent the survivors and the one larger one represents the killer.

Although, speaking of the three orange strokes, they're also paired with a narrow cross, so still five lines. One could therefore argue that the long vertical line is the killer, and the three vertical strokes plus the horizontal stroke are the survivors. There are actually a lot of fives in that design - there are also five lines on the ground, stretching away from the central "pole" like shadows... or rivulets of blood.

Actually, the more I look at it, the more that coin looks to me like it's representing some kind of cult ritual related to the Entity and the trials. We know that there is a cult dedicated to the Entity, although we were told that was in a world called "Terra Dark".

Incidentally, "terra" is the latin word for country or earth, and "primus" is the latin word for "first" - from which we get English words like "primary". So "Terra Primus" means first, or main, world/land/earth. Therefore Terra Primus could refer either to the realm of the Entity, as the main world in which the game and the Entity exist, or it could refer to "our" world, Earth, where all the different survivors and killers are taken from.

I would assume it's the face of Benedict Baker or Vigo. The symbols seem to be very generic (crows, 4 small symbols with 1 large symbol representing the killer and survivors) and don't point to a specific chapter.
