With how fast gens go now, is Fire Up viable?
Hear me out. Last night I was just trying to do my EGC sacrifices and Rancor tome challenges, so I put on a full endgame build, complete with Fire Up, and it felt amazing getting those buffs when three, four, and five gens were done.
Now that killers can expect two or three gens to be done before the first chase is over, doesn't it make sense to take the 8-12% buff on kicking gens/pallets, picking up and hooking survivors, etc.? This can be a game of seconds, after all.

Yes, however, its numbers are too low to be useful by itself. I suggest you pair it with Brutal Strength and/or Bamboozle if you want good results.

Nah, its terrible.
Needs to be stacked with another chase perk, and by then? Instead of fire up brutal you could just be rocking spirit fury enduring; getting rid of pallets just as fast and also getting free hits to boot.
If you want an endgame perk just do NOED and call it a day.

It doesn't do enough to be that good. Its best use imo is to mess up the timing for people going for flashlight saves.

Just like Thanata the numbers are too low.

Thanata is great on people who just injure everyone for free, like legion and plague.
You may as well just use lightborn then. I sometimes slap it on if there's 2-3+ flashlights in the lobby. not because I particularly care about flashlights, but just being able to pick up a survivor right in the flashlight users face, and then run at them while they are trying to blind you, is pretty funny.

If the numbers were higher, maybe. As is, it seems like not enough impact to be worth it.

It's still lackluster on both those killers. There are much better options.

If you combine Fired Up with Bamboozle do you vault faster than a survivor?

I think you vault as fast as a medium vault, but not a fast vault

Hell yeah it is!

What killer and other perks do you run with it? I normally like to go with a full Fire Up build with Bamboozle, Brutal Strength, and BBQ on Legion, but I'm wondering if there's a better build

Been using it on Clown with Monitor and Abuse, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Surveillance.

No BS or Bamboozle? How often do you notice it helping you close a chase?

Put it with brutal strength

I'd like to see "fire up" be increased to a better state. It use to be a really good perk. I miss the OLD tinkerer as well.

4% buff to Picking-Up, Dropping, Pallet Breaking, Generator Damaging and Vaulting speeds for the remainder of the Trial.
Fire Up does all of that alone, when they get 3-4 gens done thats 12%-16% (20% the equivelent of Brutal Strength at all gens). Monitor and Abuse they don't see me coming as fast (unless they have spine chill), and when i'm in chase they jump off gens thinking i'm coming. Surveillance tells me what gen they are going for every time when there is only 3-4 gens left on the map. Then every time I get a hook slowly picking them off. Pop blasts that gen they tried working on for a whole 25%.
The only thing I would change in this build is to find some way to incorporate Make Your Choice or another exposed status perk. Maybe even Play with Your Food.

Fired up sounds pretty good. I just wish it was alittle better. Like just push the numbers alittle further. You gotta be careful cause i already think fired up is fairly viable. So i dont want it jacked up to far, but pushing it to be more impactful lategame where it matters would be better. Like 1.5% move speed for each gen completed in echange for another stat. But keep the hook and pick up speed bonus. And make it better cause honeslty. The time you save picking someone up with whatever bonus it gives doesnt really feel that good cause picking up lasts like what... 1 and a half seconds or something. You shave some marginal percentage off that and you save like .3 seconds or something. Its basically irrelevant however if it was pumped up to be 50 percent faster hooking and picking up at 5 gens. It would allow the killer to apply more pressure. Coupling this with aggitation rancor or even devour hope if it stays up long enough/you get gen rushed and you could really be able to keep up the pressure late game. Hopefully those reading this who, in the past, have chosen to see me as a biased survivor main, will get a chance to read this.

Fire Up, Bamboozle, Tier 3 Myers meta when??
2 -
I think it could use a simple number buff to get more value out of it. Maybe make it 3.5/4/4.5% instead of 3/3.5/4% per gen completed.

To bs is not that good but fire up is because it affect 4 things instead of bs affect one thing.

Recently i have been using Fire Up, Brutal strength, Bamboozle, and NOED for Myers with the idea of gens going by fast, i dont even bother kicking them, i just keep chasing, the more gens that get done, the more of a tank you become especially at T3

Fire Up's numbers are way too low to be worth anything.

The effect is noticeable but it really doesn't do much. It's like brutal strength. Noticeable, but it hardly cuts down on time in a significant way. I think it should make your movement speed faster too tbh. +1% per gen completed maybe.
