Spies From the Shadows and Hex Trill of the Hunt Balance
Can these perks give aura reading with noise notification instead of bubbles with noise notification?, sometimes you are close to your totem and someone just touch it and you dont receive a warning cause you are inside of the bubble notification space limit. Spies from the shadows in other hand show you were the survs passed by but till you get there they are gone and you will lose your time loiking for them instead of getting a profit from the perk.

a quavering or vibratory sound, especially a rapid alternation of sung or played notes.

They work well as they are. They are meant to help track, not give position and movement away. Spies is one of my top perks, partially due to colorblindness, which makes me all but blind on many maps. Spies gives me nice direction.

yep another thing devs should look into is colorblindness, idk i think the killer should be a little brighter than surv cause they are living in darkness for ages

make the bubble notification and the crow follow them for 5 seconds

I was just teasing you because of the typo in Thrill of the Hunt 😂.

I like the way Spies from the Shadows work right now.. An aura reading on top of that would be a bit too powerful.
One problem I have with Spies though is that some maps, such as the Autohaven maps, barely have any crows on them.. and others, such as Léry's, are infected and have 10 crows per room. So running this perk is a big hit or miss, either you get 5 notifications every second, or none all game long (and since there's no crows you don't disturb any moving around either, it's not just the survivors being super stealthy)

Thats my one peeve with this perk. The Game also is a huge no crow zone too. I actually don't think I've ever set a crow off in that place.

Oh yeah. That map's bad for that too, I agree.
I made a topic about it on the suggestions board but no one seemed to care because it wasn't a suggestion about nerfing noed or decisive strike :/
It's honestly a great underrated perk.
I run both that and Hangman's Trick on Huntress.. Hangman's doesn't see as much use, but when it does, boy is it useful. Spies though.. really helps me find people I wouldn't have suspected were there in the first place, crouching behind rocks or walking slowly nearby (but still disturbing crows.. 36 meters is far enough that i wouldn't hear them running.. but I definitely hear the crows)

I personally love spies. I use it with my GF while stalking so I can easily catch them off guard, or when they're trying to hide mid-chase only to have a crow give them away. Haven't got Pig so never used Hangmans, but it does sound like a pretty handy perk to have.

It's mostly handy if they do sabotages, honestly.. Otherwise it's a bit of a wasted perk slot. But I've had games where some of them tried to prepare hooks for sabotage, and it let me know where they were right away, good for finding people. And chain sacrificing survivors on the same hook is great. One of the groups that sabotaged was doing it just for kicks.. I sacrificed one on a hook while the other was slugged nearby.. waited 5 seconds, picked them and hooked them as soon as the hook respawned.. one of them was a streamer too, I joined their stream afterwards "Sorry for spoiling your sabotage fun" "I wasn't sure if you had the perk or not, you kept showing up as we were doing it!" My record is 3 on the same hook ;) Have yet to get all 4

Well, it’s in the lore that killers have Entity-Enhanced senses... so...

My suggestion for buffing Spies from last April:
Spies from the Shadows: Reveals the auras of all crows (in yellow or white) within a 24/28/36 meter radius. Crows no longer respond to your presence, and all disturbed crows have 100% louder volume within this radius.
This gets rid of the godawful loud BANG noise the current version has, and instead lets killers see crows as little signal flares leaping into the sky when disturbed as well as being more audible for the killer so they know which direction to look, Plus the killer doesn't disturb them any more so there's no "false signals". It's still completely countered by Calm Spirit and Urban Evasion, and a large number of maps don't have too many crows in key locations (Rotten field for example doesn't have any crows in the corn field despite the lack of a scarecrow) so its not an overpowered tracking tool, just a far more useful one.

True. We have enough aura perks as it is. I for one like the thrill of hunting down and chasing survivors. I don't want them spoonfed to me by always knowing where they are.

omg 100% agree, and i think devs should remake all crow positions in some maps ( plenty maps dont have crows) cause they are a forgotten feature in the game apparently, they didnt even talk about crows on the map survey they did.

Spies works fine as is. The only problem with it is it can become kinda disorienting if there are multiple places being set off at once. In that situation it backfires but I only really notice that on certain maps like Lery's. I wouldn't mind it if they would just change the sound.

Imo both of these perks are fine as is. I feel like being able to see the survivors would just be like.. Too easy. Maybe they could do that for thrill but for spies it would be unnecessary.

I feel the same about Spies.. if you're close enough, you don't need the aura reading. If they disturb crows in a chase, you know which way they're going already... if not during a chase, you know behind which rock they're hiding.
