Lost hope in this game

Can we please fix the issues YOUR COMMUNITY has been asking for before we pump out more and more chapters. We dont need more killers and survivors, we dont need new maps at the moment. We need balance. Game breaking bugs fixes, and something to make playing survivor more fun instead of just loop and m1. You guys do a good job at replying to community feedback and posting on the forums but why does it take 6 months to a year to fix things a MAJORITY of the community agrees with (games too fast for bothsides, survivors bored of holding m1 all game, the issues with keys). I'm sure alot of people would like a new chapter but I'm also sure alot more people would like balance and fixes that this game really needs. Post your opinions if youd like this is just a rant I needed to get out.

And just some examples of things that took FAR too long to fix: hatch standoffs, dedicated servers (still a ######### mess), insta builds on killers, broken af perks like pre rework ds, and things like the freddy and spirit rework. You guys just dont care and take forever to fix things that alot of people have issues with.

Then a mori is fine and survivors shouldn’t rage quit and ######### when one is brought in.

I have no issues with either of them, but some people blow them both completely out of proportion.

I feel like both need a bit of reworking. Keys legit just need an animation so they arent an insta no counterplay win. Moris need a little balancing too. These are both things the community has complained about and still nothing

Both of them grant free wins. That's no bueno in my book.

I agree. I don’t personally use a mori unless I see an incoming toxic squad or a streamer with rabid fans in tow. Then again, I don’t even do that most of the time because it honestly ruins my enjoyment, their enjoyment, and it doesn’t help the whole blood point farming deal

I also think that survivors should get more to do, but the most dbd players that write in the forums have beg for a game what dbd today is.

There are only 2 ways to give survivors more to do:

    -more objectives

-killers that fit not in the m1 category

And I don't see how ever something of that will happen by all the nerf crying.

The people have cry about game mechanics, killer and survivor abilities, perks and addons and now we have this mess. I don't see how that could be changed, without making the game harder, aka. without producing things that would lead to more nerf threads in the forums.

I have already responded to the post you put up on this very topic, so I won’t explain it again.

You know what would be a fun way to add a bit of challenge to keys? Make it so when the survivor stands on the hatch, a chain begins to appear with the pattern of the entity appearing, like it's burning into existence. The survivor then has to follow that chain at least two tiles away, and they'll find the lock there. Same lack of interaction time with a current key, but instead of an instant escape, the chain then begins to burn and let off light, and the survivors can then follow it to the hatch to escape the match as usual.

This would add at least a chance to deal with someone with a key without turning it off, since two tiles isn't super far away. It would also tell all other survivors where the hatch is, so you don't need to be in voicechat with someone to avoid screwing them over with a premature hatch opening.

New characters = more cosmetic potential

Seems to be the direction they're going in. Why balance the game when we can just add more to the mess and look good while we do it xD

I'm sure the programming team would love to hear your input on how better to streamline the millions of lines of code that make up DBD.

You guys DO have tech advice right? Instead of vacuously shouting at the void for them to fix it?
