Rank bug is definitely interesting...
I was a 10 killer and survivor and dropped all the way to 18 on killer but 16 on survivor lol. Idk. Anyways playing killer I was getting mostly greens...and boy... assuming some were reds before the issue...you can really tell which ones deserved the reds and which ones didn't. Not saying I'm very good or anything. I just started playing again (maybe like 2 weeks before this "reset"). But I definitely saw some potatoes...then saw some using some good mind games,builds,and other tactics you'd see on videos and such. I was hearing a lot of reds were dropping into greens earlier...is it fun or too ez? I don't think they've fixed it yet,so curious to see people's experiences.

Couldnt you see it anyway? I mean rank 1 or rank 20 you can see eho can actually play decently

I was hoping this was intentional, I like an easy game as much as the next guy, but I had 6 straight games in a row as Trapper and they all played something like this.

I unfortunately am not a highly skilled player. I have some...issues. I know the things that are good to do but I'm not able to actually...do them,sometimes because of my limitations. I'm pretty good with Huntress. I was able to get a 4k off some guys that seems really good earlier,but the last three matches,two I completely got my ass handed to me,and it was easy to tell I was EXTREMELY outmatched. I mean people can say I suck or whatever. I'm not going to pretend I'm top tier or anything.

Iām with you brother, I have some games I do godly and I end uploading them, and others Iām ashamed of how bad I did because all the stupid mistakes I made. Hell I let someone with dead hard cause me to whiff twice in that vid I posted, and swung at what I thought was a window when Meg ran though a door way, I looked as boosted as them lol!

Green rank killers can't complain about getting matched with red ranks if everyone is green.
This rank reset was 100% intentional by the devs and they will do nothing to fix it, not like climbing in this garbage game is hard. I just feel really bad for killers who are actually those ranks.

Then why does it say at the top that "it's an issue which caused players rank to be reset further than intended"? They are just lying and didn't want backlash? I kinda am missing your logic? I was a green,now I'm a rank 18 that's going against greens that used to be reds? Or you are saying that was their intention? To make everyone except actual greens green so people wouldn't complain?

And now I just completely smashed a team that outplayed me at every turn,and managed to get 4 gens on. You can tell when you are chasing someone that has skill.
They were also trolling. So maybe SWF. Taking turns blocking the hook,trying to use flashlights,trying to dismantle the hook in front of me and then turning around and tapping the gen. Blocking hits,trying to initiate chases to waste time. (I main Huntress) Just these matches today aren't quite what I'm used to seeing.
I'm not going to say it's just the rank thing. Could be the more diehard and better players are on because it's Friday night. Other people are obviously noticing some differences too though. I also don't want to come off as complaining. I like a challenge.

Huntress is definitely hard to use, but I have been having some decent games with her lately so more power to you, make them suffer!

I went from Rank 4 Killer and Survivor to Rank 11 Killer and Survivor... It won't take me long to get back, but boy do I feel bad for these baby's i've been facing since the rank reset. They don't even have all tier 3 meta perks yet.

Haha. I feel like I was so in the middle that it goes back and forth. I'm still getting greens,but sometimes you can tell they used to be reds,and sometimes you can't. I've started thinking they won't fix it. It's not like everyone is going to be the same rank by tomorrow or the next day. Would be hard to put it back where it used to be,or was supposed to be. Might screw people over again.

Woooww....I had a bit more luck as survivor. Was killer that was the problem. I was outta my league...pretty much like this guy lol. I was able to get kills here and there though. I've never been red before,so even when I lost it was interesting to see survivors use tactics I've seen on videos from higher level players...and was really satisfied if I could outplay them. The numbers are so random,that killer could've been a green at best.

This should be fixed already š” idk how they missed this when testing the update or do they just go say screw it and toss out some untested update for consoles š pretty massive fail to a game mechanic to have it like this for even a day. Big Sad
