No Mither Upgrade?

Everyone can agree that No Mither is one of the worst perks out there. Although this idea won’t make the perk a great perk, I believe it would be somewhat decent. Basically the only thing you change is the grunt reduction, instead of it being 0/25/50% make it 25/50/100%.

That way it will be a mix of:

  • Tier III Iron Will
  • A Modified Version of Unbreakable (you can get up an unlimited amount of times by yourself but you don’t have the recovery speed increase)
  • Upgraded Lucky Break that last for the rest of the trial

I fell like this change will make the perk somewhat good.

What do you guys think? I’m open to discussions

I mean, the whole purpose of the perk was to eventually add a "hard mode" for survivors.

Sorta feel like this'd go against the intention of that, you can always run iron will with it if u dont want grunts like how it is currently. obviously just my 2 cents on the issue : )

I’d rather No Mither didn’t get buffed. It sucks when you play survivor and have this kind of liability on your side. I wouldn’t want reasons to encourage people to use it.

If I'm going to run a Hard Mode perk, I'll use Mettle of Man to at least reward me! 😁

What. No mither is the best perk. It completely counters plague and one shot killers, and comes with built in unbreakable.

It's the best perk in the game!

No pls, he said hard not impossible.

Butttt, if you want super hard mode take these:

No Mither, Mettle of Man, Object of Obsession and Babysitter.

Just making the point that at least Mettle of Man rewards you for taking a Hard Mode perk, No Mither really doesn't.

The perk is heavily flawed and needs to be looked at to have a reward. 😁

Shhhhh, the ability to pick yourself up once is definitely worth being one shot the entire game

It really needs a QOL as well. Make it to where if you’re running No Mither it doesn’t play injured state music. It makes it hard to hear your surroundings when the injured state music is playing the entire match.

  • I think this game should have 4 SWF perks. Perks that you can only use if you have 4 people in a lobby together that are in your group.

They should basically be perks that increase bloodpoints gains, but seriously penalize you. I mean heavy negative effects but huge rewards.

Like each one could stack with the rest and increase all BP gains in a category by like 100% at least, so you could have a total of 400% bloodpoint increase in all categories if you took them all.

Thing is they would be like:

"Anxiety: Generator repair speeds are slowed by 35% for all survivors, and skill checks are all 50% more difficult, but all survivors gain 100% more blood points in the objective category"

"Agony: All survivors are always at least in an injured state, but all survivors gain 100% more blood points in the surviva category"

and so on, just 4 of them basically that would make your game HELLA difficult but grant massive rewards together. It would make for some very fun SWF games for both sides, and no one would feel bad because come on if you took all them you expect a loss.

Current ranking would make it difficult though, we don't want people de-ranking because of it- but with their new matchmaker on the way maybe something could be done to make it not count the same as a normal match when one of them or more is used.

I really think things like this, that make the game so much less bloody serious and stressful and just aggravating when you lose, would make the game SO so SOOOO much healthier for both sides.

I think it really just needs to not put the broken status affect until the first time it’s used

I see your point but this change is not to make this perk so everyone would use it, it’s just to make it more playable. Reduced grunts wouldn’t really attract most of the survivors, but for those that want to make the game a bit harder or help with gens can at least have a chance to help the team. Reduced grunts can mean that they can better evade the killer because anyone who has no Mither usually tries to do gens faster with perks like resilience or this is not happening. Reduced Grunting can mean that the survivor won’t go down a lot making him more useful for the team.

Not really, it would still be a hard perk to use, but it’s purpose was to spice up the game. No Mither can be used to gen rush with perks like Resilience, This is not Happening, and Spine Chill. The purpose was to basically change the survivor’s way of playing the game for the better but at a risky cost. If it was meant to be a hard perk, you wouldn’t be able to fully recover, you would leave bloodstains, and you would grunt more often.

It’s a unique and possibility fun idea, but I don’t think we should have perks that directly affect other survivors because it would increase the chances of terrible games because of all these trollers and knowing how toxic this community is, a lot of people will use it to ruin other people’s games. However, I can get behind perks that only affect yourself but you gain extra blood points

Yeah but with my my full idea that isn't possible, you can't troll anyone with it. You would have to be in a full SWF in order to use them. 4 People.

All four people would have to take that perk for it to even activate, and they would always be unlocked for anyone once they get say that survivor to rank 50 once or something simple like that. It would help ease some of the SWF insanity out there, while offering a fun optional thing for some of those groups.

Those ones would just be for SWF, but there should be others that are like you said, just affect yourself, but those could kinda ruin it for other people online if you are in solo. I think on that front the killer should have some as well primarily. Then even if a killer is losing, they have something to kinda feel better about regardless, and can still make decent earnings.

That’s a great idea, perks like those could make the game a bit more fair

  • I think it would be good too, we would see those killers that 4K like 90% of their games at rank 1 suddenly using them and making their games more challenging for them too, and same with survivor SWFs that are super cereal and want bragging rights- well it wouldn't get any better bragging rights than that.
