What are some licensed killers that could fit into the lore well?

This is not a speculation to killers we will get, but one based upon which ones could fit.

For me, the big two that come to mind are a little obscure, but Matt Cordell from the Maniac Cop franchise, and Victor Crowley from the Hatchet movies.

Matt was a police officer who was tortured and presumed dead after being wrongfully imprisoned. He emerges many years later as a tall officer with brute strength, police baton (that doubles as a blade). He destroys everybody he comes across, and is fueled by rage and a lust for vengeance to those who wrongfully imprisoned him. I think he could fit well, because like The Spirit, he is a mess of anger, taking it out on anybody he find may get in his way. In the films he seems to just appear whenever, and wherever, often vanishing without a trace. I figured something like that could work as a power, kinda like spirit, but with no husk, only mist and smoke in his place.

Victor Crowley was a mentally disabled wildman, born from a curse. His father accidentally killed him while trying to save him. He comes back as a ghost, one that can take all damage. You can actually kill him, but after a short while, he will get right back up and keep coming. Think of him as a mix of leatherface and Jason Voorhees (fitting as the actor who portrayed him in the movies is Friday the 13th's own Kane Hodder). I think he could be a fun killer, as he could be one that survivor can actually fight, subduing him for short whiles, only for him to come back soon. The movies called him a Repeater, a soul forced to relive the torment of his death forever and ever, that is why he kills. Such a simple mind, with insatiable bloodlust would be amazing for the entity. The only big downside is, he would be a third 'country' style killer. However, he is much more different than the other two, though comparisons could be made.

These are just random thoughts, please give me your own. Feel free to get really obscure, I love this game's incredible cast of horror, but it would be amazing if we got some lesser known figures from the hallowed halls of horror.

    The Surgeon from Hostel

    Nemesis from RE3

Otis Driftwood\Doctor Satan from the Corpses\Rejects\Hell trilogy

The lead vampire from 30 Days of Night

If I think of more, I'll edit them in.

I could see Otis, not so much Doctor Satan. He kinda just... was there and didn't do anything lol

He would be powered by the Entity so I could see him coming in, given his evil history and he does have at least a kill in the movie.

But if anyone were to be picked, I agree it would probably be Otis.

I could see Jacob Goodnight from See no Evil being a killer. I feel like most slashers would make sense in The Entity's world because it runs on the multiverse theory.

I will sit here and make a list because the possibilities are endless. With picture links in order of mention for reference. Already know this will be a wall of text. It seems the team is looking outside of only human origins so i'm including all possibilities.

Hellraiser franchise. Good flexible designs and lore could be created. Lots of Cenobites to choose from. Probably could make their own with its own Lore tie in. They come back in their appearance according to how they lived and died after using the cube (one of the Cenobites in the first movie was a smoker i think so her appearance is of her throat ripped open for eternity). 2855281-go_go_cenobites_by_onewingedangel75-d3334nb.jpg

The Thing. Very flexible Alien design. Though this one would have a lot of work to do since it infects people first and then transforms them. They could go an easy route and rework the Plaque killer mechanics and play off of that. May have to tone it down since it can multiply. Too much map pressure. The Thing infects people and lives in them. It forms a harmonious relationship to the body it is in. I'm not even sure if the things it infected knew it was in them or if it controls them and makes them believe nothing is wrong. When in danger of becoming exposed it reveals itself by mutating the body of its host and breaking apart and mutating more as needed and slaughtering threats to its existence. mm3_norriscreature.jpg

Anyone possessed could have a potential killer aspect. Such as a movie to do with exorcism. The movie is based loosely off of a real possession of a boy. Pazuzu is the demon that possess the girl in The Exorcist. the-exorcist_176895_1.jpg

The Conjuring Universe has many fully realized spirits and demons that have violent tendencies but they could be twisted into more violent Killers with their own Lore. Such as the demon Valak (The Nun), Annabelle (The Doll)(or if you want a more violent doll Chuckie, or a violent kid such as Gage Creed (Pet Sematary) or Damien Thorn (The Omen)), la llorona (I don't know if she will fit since she is a child killer and their are no child survivors). top-image23.jpg / ne51y7zdthdl8e_1_a.jpg / maxresdefault.jpg / gage_creed.jpg / th / curse-of-la-llorona.jpg

Thirteen Ghosts (2001 remake) had excellent ghost designs and Lore made for the movie. The Jackal, Juggernaut, Hammer, Dire Mother with the Great Child (would be interesting to have you control the Mother and attack with the Child or be the Child and ask mother for help to show their location for like 1 second or something), Pilgrimess, Angry Princess, and the Torn Prince are the more violent ones either in lore or directly in the movie. tumblr_o08je9zkhV1rp0vkjo1_500.gif / b2450fdbf2ef91fc1be34c2c8c30eacc.jpg / Movie-Costume-Display-Statue-Hammer-1.jpg / attachment.php / tumblr_n8in6lGoJ41rp0vkjo1_500.gif / tumblr_mp0k02eNel1sx7wxwo1_500.gif / th

Small breather of really obvious choices that are or were media figures. Jack the Ripper, Vlad the Impaler better known as Dracula (in Bram Stoker's Dracula he does die because he sacrifices his life to face his fear of death. He chose his victims carefully so he could become the best version of a Vampire in the world since their blood transferred their qualities to him.), Hannibal Lecter (The Silence of the Lambs), Norman Bates (Psycho), The Creeper (Jeepers Creepers), Carrie (Carrie), Candyman (Candyman), Jack Torrance (The Shining), Xenomorph Alien (Alien), The Predator (Predator), Tom Hanniger (My Bloody Valentine), Carl Stargher (The Cell) Carl's mind would make an interesting killer mechanic. I presume like Freddie's nightmare state or Doctor's hallucinations.

Here a real head spinner since they put in an Alien. Cujo the dog... Cujo might be treated like The Plague because Cujo became a killer dog due to rabies. But he was a killer dog. It would be weird that Cujo can't jump over things in game. cujo.jpg / cujo1.jpg

Annie Wilkes (Misery). She definitely would be an "Obsession" killer similar to Micheal in which she probably wouldn't kill her obsession until she has to. And if you don't remember who she killed i believe she shot and killed the officer that came to help the author because she wanted him to herself. She was shot in the end but her body disappeared. giphy.gif / 185

Another odd ball would be to bring back André Toulon (Puppet Master) as The Puppet Master and use his puppets as his "Weapons". This feels like a Totem utilizer, attack count, or kill count build up. Lore wise you would probably have to use Puppet Master II since he was resurrected by his puppets in this movie after committing suicide in the first movie. He uses them for his evil deeds to try to put someones soul, he thinks is his dead lover, in a puppet. He transfers his own soul into another to be with her forever but doesn't succeed in transferring his lovers look alike soul. His puppets kill him because they realize what he was doing was evil. Really silly movies (over 10 of them) but Freddie has silly movies as well. puppet-master-larger-size.jpg

Sorry will stop now. Sore back but much needed break after sucking at DBD for some time now. This thread really put some inspiration into me. Thank you Diggly for making this broad post. Hope this doesn't count as Necroing a thread. First commentt yay.
