Anyone else like Shadowborn on Hillbilly?

I know it isen't optimal to run it and you absolutely do not need it but I find that i really like it. That extra FOV honestly feels really nice and has turned into one of those guilty pleasure perks for me. You don't need it but the small quality of life it brings feels just right.

I use it religiously on Billy. My build is Shadowborn, BBQ, Whispers and Enduring. Shadowborn is like a drug.

Thats my exact build right now. BBQ, Enduring and Whispers is non negotiable but swapping spirit fury for shadowborn although not practical just feels amazing. I think in general killers could serve to get a slight FOV buff.

Learn to play without it and have another perk spot. Only one that i think that did make use of it was doc. The old doc. Since M&A (Similar to Shadow) gave you a wider TR but also a wider FOV. I only used M&A cos of the TR.

Do you really need that extra FOV? All the other killers dont have it by default. Just saying...

I very much can play without it, and have for a long time, but I feel confident enough in my Billy skills that I'm able to run with 3 perks essentially. The FOV is more of a feel thing than it is benefit. It feels extremely nice to have, despite it not possessing much benefit.

I started using it on Billy and Nurse and now I can't stop. These killers are unplayable for me without shadowborn now so I'm forever stuck playing these killers with 3 perks. Now if only we could get some actual options such as an FOV slider in this game...just a thought...would make playing killer a lot more fun and enjoyable...
