I thought you were just joking about being able to still get splinters even though they we're supposed to get rid of them but when I realized it was Freddy's splinter on Freddy it made this much more amusing. :3

Actually this is quite amusing. Id be embarrassed as a dev. How could they miss this? Not even lock out the splinters for the very played character?
This should have been a simple binary exclusion state. Either a 1 or a 0.

I can't believe that this is even possible but I agree since I have had every DLC on release and still forced to purchase offerings for killers I have owned for ages....super frustrating

I never get splinters anymore. Are they even on the bloodweb? Not that I want them.

I think that I bought that splinter that long a go to see if it was even possible. This would have been months ago, but I haven't really played much Freddy.
Picked him up today and found that still in there. Some of my characters also have Bone Splinters, but I refuse to play Leatherface.
I think that they removed then a while ago. Not sure, as I have all the DLC characters except for Ash and Leatherface.

I own them all too, but I still get Black Splinter and Smoking Splinters on my blood web. I never stopped getting them.

The point was that if you didn't purchase the DLC with that killer, you could get that in your bloodweb, and burn it as an offering so you could try the killer, and that would entice you to then purchase the DLC after having tried out the killer.

I found one on my huntress yesterday and it didn’t work, I probably got banned because I left because of the endless loading screen

I dont think it causes endless loading screen, at least not to me.
From what I know you dont get the DC ban if you leave at the loading screen.
