How are some stramers still deranking? DEV attention needed
some 4 stack swf streamers are still able to derank somehow even though BHVR stopped (SAM) that old app streamers used to derank .. and now that BHVR implemented DC penalties , how are these people still deranking?
I can see them start their stream at rank 12 , finish it at rank 6 or 5
then the very next day stream starts at rank 12
DBD devs need to find out how are these toxic 4 stacks are still able to derank to impress some viewers bullying low rank killers
edit: after research, I found a website that teaches how to derank using third party applications

You should report them to BHVR in case this is true, but not publicly, because then you would be name shaming.

Are they playing on the same steam account or a different one? Some people make multiple steam accounts just to play at a certain rank constantly through steam sharing. Obviously their rank doesn't copy per account it's just they keep each account played for each month specifically for that rank. I knew of a few people who did this constantly just to demolish new players and it's pretty obnoxious and disappointing.

same account , same pattern.. stream ends in purple - red ranks
starts rank 12 - 13 next day .

SAM doesn’t work anymore. There’s no third party app that can change your rank.

They can literally go into games and suicide instantly on hook. It would take a few hours. Worth it if you ask me.

there must be some app. because this streamer Im talking about only started deranking a month ago. she never deranked since SAM stopped working.
I feel it in my guts, they found a new third party app.
Im pretty sure the devs will know whats up.

Its easy to get into a game, be found, and die on 1st hook and de pip.
Even easier to afk for crows and let it happen.
Especially if the steamer has editing/video work to do, it's basically on in the background while they work.
It's really not hard to de pip.

well her friends arent streamers so thety dont have editing.. how are they deranking with her on a daily basis since a while now ?

They could be watching youtube dude. I was giving one very obvious example.
I de ranked my wraith a year ago just to see how easy it was with all the de rank talk. Afk in basement and watched anime. About 2 hours later I was down 4 or 5 ranks.
Its REALLY not that hard.

Isn't AFK and/or suicide on 1st hook (for multiple matches) against the rules ? For me it feels just like smurfing to get better games against lower ranked people. If this isn't wrong why would anyone be interested in rank up ?

They shouldnt. Ranking up gives nothing. No reward, no anything. It USED to match you with people around your rank (which was still swishy washy as a lot of people didnt deserve that "rank"), but with matchmaking how it is, now it basically just serves as pseudo bragging rights.

it wouldn't be too difficult honestly. After stream, hypothetically they could just queue up for matches while they go AFK and do whatever life things they have to do. Die and then queue up for more matches.
It would take some time and I've considered doing it myself, I just haven't had the time to because it seems tedious.

Hard to be too upset. The devs 100% created this problem themselves with A) no rank reward system, which would be easy to implement B) No serious way to counter de-ranking, such as a system that actually means something and C) The sweaty nature of high-level games that poor game design encourages.
I know it isn't allowed, but this kind of behavior is encouraged by developer design decisions, and the fact that they haven't seriously tried to fix any of these problems is their fault.
