The community hyped up yui so much we're literally getting a white version of her this chapter. EXTREMELY lame and such a missed opportunity the buzz and hype was real for Pinhead and I think this will sour some people on the chapter.

Yeah, people generally don't like being incorrect, but if it's not Pinhead, then it's not Pinhead, and basing hype on theories is a pretty bad practice in my opinion.

the devs have said that they usually are working on the next killer after the new killer before the new killer is even released. the community literally has no say in it and can only recommend what killer they should do after the next 2 or 3 get released.
edit: by working on the next killer i mean they probably already have the general power idea and character in mind and might already have code and lore for that character to build upon. they also have to get the licence for characters like pinhead which can take some time so it's better to just make original killers until they now that they can start working on a killer such as pinhead without wasting their effort.

The licensed killers are better and that's just a fact. They haven't released a good original chapter since the spirit came out and that was forever ago. Pinhead makes more sense to be in this game then any of the other licensed killers in the game or that could be in the game. And the fact we're getting a copy look wise of a character is stupid sorry it just is.

Why is it the devs fault that people hyped over Pinhead when there was no definitive proof that the next killer even was Pinhead?

they can't work on a killer like pinhead until they get the license otherwise its a waste of their resources which could have been used on other projects. Even if they did get the license he won't be worked on until other projects(killers) that are far along are complete.

Can you also explain to me why Pinhead makes more sense than other Killers, and what you mean by it making sense?

Who said the devs? I'm saying YOU the community. Everyone loved yui. Devs let's add another chick with a side haircut and a leather jacket to make everyone happy and the killer will suck but who cares? Looks apparently appease to community more then good characters so be it right? I'm gonna get the chapter like everyone else for the sake of content so I am apart of the problem.

They should make the chapter 16 killer your choice of any of the survivors in a deranged state. And the new survivor a version of the killer when they were still human. Demo would be Billy or Mew.

If you see the back story of how he transforms into pinhead tell me that doesn't fit into the lure of the game.

I don't think that's how it works. They plan out everything about the chapter way before the cursed legacy chapter came out. Also if the logic that yui's popularity has something to do with this new survivors design then how come they didn't add another thicc survivor like Jane right away considering how hyped she was? In fact I think she was WAY more hyped up and popular then Yui ever was.
