Because so far I can't think of anything that pointed us in the direction of what we are getting in this Chapter.

    The first teaser showed us a ghost in the last frame the second teaser told us the killer was female and that maybe a sword is involved. The hints were pretty clear imo

    Nah - basically the devs said they'd been leaving hints for ages as to what septembers killer was.

    The teaser definitely told us that the killer was female. The man in the teaser spoke so we could definitely rule him out as the killer because the devs said a long time ago that that we will never hear the killers talk. Also the teaser showed us a japanese writing which said "reborn" and as we heard the girl getting murdered we knew that she was the one being reborn (and with the first teaser showing us a ghost we knew she was reborn as a spirit)

    Well, all the theories were hinging around the pictures on the walls in Badham. If it were a mega troll, its not a concern, just like the "no clowns" promise; if there was something though. What was it??? Please Devs! What???

    I also would like to know what the hints were leading up to the teasers. was it something oriental in nature.....was their ghost-like clues I missed? Where were they?

    We could say the picture with the scratches gave us clue that it would be a female killer.

    And all the other evidence we could say that it led us to Kuchisake - Onna which led us to find out about her background, instead of taking it literal that it was going to be her. It could have been grasp this killer was going to be som sort of vengeful spirit. 

    I like the how they teased this killer because it led to so many speculations.
