The Trapper Buff
As much as I like the idea we can finally rearm traps without having to pick them up, I don't think this is going to be that useful. When you plant a trap you need the put it just right. If a survivor steps in it the trap moves slightly. If you rearm it they may be able to go around it. I don't think this is a QoL change I feel it was more of like lubricant to soften the new sabo.

But sabo does not affect bear traps anymore?

It helps when people disarm important traps, but yeah, you should be able to realocate it in a very small radius without picking up.

I got to r1 as my trapper and I very rarely saw someone sabo a bear trap. Disarm, oh hell yeah. All the time but hardly sabo. People at red ranks don't run sabo and if they have a toolbox they use it for gens.

I meant the new sabo sounds like it will break the game so the devs tossed us a minor buff to cushion the blow.

Now that you say it, it does seem kind of strong, but we will have to see how it plays out

I'm not sure the breakable walls will be all that good either. The survivor's can't interact with it but it's another thing for us to break that gives them time to run to another pallet/vault. Hopefully it will help with some of the longer loops.

The real buff is the fact you can no longer sabo traps and you can reset a trap even you are full of traps. The last one is very annoying to be fair. One thing I am worried about are the ultra rare addons which I think will need to be adjusted. After no longer being able to sabo traps, the self setting traps+injuring traps have no real counter and will becom even stronger/and they already are/. Have to be some really coordinated SWF group or a really bad killer to win that match. They have to either keep these being sabo-able or add another thing to compensate the removed sabo

Re-setting trap already on the ground only help if the traps are Disarmed, not Catching
It saves you abit of time, not a buff, consider this as QoL. As the Dev said

lol a solo survivor can already counter these, when you encounter traps that damage on disarm you heal your self to 99% and then just go disarm all the traps you know of and you just stay at 99% until you see the killer coming at you
if you think they are rearming traps as well then you just come back and check on the really important ones
these are lovely QOL changes for trapper they still need to address the issue of traps moving to survivors when they trigger

Or the survivors having a smaller hit box than the trapper. I never understood how they can walk past some traps yet I get caught. No DH was not involved.

Letting the trappers to set a trap without picking it up is not enough. The trappers needs more buffs, at meats give him a base kit of two traps, or survivors should not be able to untrap themselves.

This method works but with the changes to the addons too you will see less and less healing addons until people start using mostly items cause they going to just run out of addons and with just a medkit that method would work just once before you get chased /and selfcare is just a horrible perk that I wish to be deleted/

Unable to untrap is too much, for me Injured Survivor unable to untrap is good enough, Healthy still able to escape, but with fixed RNG like 3-5 tries.
