Deathslinger hook should pull survivors over vaults (windows and thrown pallets)

I mean it would make sense right? And it'll make his ability viable on strong loops. The struggle bar can take a hit, but if you're smart about it, I think he'd become a lot stronger. Thoughts?

Pulling them in allows you to hit them through a window.

Personally I just feel he should be able to do a clean pallet destruction when there is a pallet between the killer and the survivor and the survivor is hooked.

I think that pulling the survivor's back over pallets would be a really nice change. However, at the same time I don't think you should be able to pull them back through windows because he gets hits through windows most of the time with his power anyways.

I suppose you're right about the windows, but over the pallet? Alternatively, the spear can break the pallet like Demo's Shred/chainsaws. It'd give him something to use other than pulling a survivor to you

I think what I meant with over windows/pallets was to allow for an instant grab if they were injured, maybe? That could be too strong though... but also why not? Reward skillful play and all that. He has no gen pressure rn, so stronger play in catching survivors would help.

If you do this it pretty much makes all pallet loops that aren’t guarded by walls unplayable survivors will just throw down the pallet and run away. That’s not fun on the survivors end. I think what they should do is let it take longer to break out of the chain when it’s going through objects so for smaller loops, if the deathslinger plays it right will hit you across the small loop and go to the short end and drag him and the survivor towards each other and lunge to get a hit. That’s smart play. Just buff that aspect you can already do it but not too much of that was buffed it’ll be a lot better. But dragging over pallets it’s wayyyyy too much.

He definitely needs some way to actually down and hook survivors efficiently using his power considering he's 4.4ms. As it stands, good survivors are staying injured and camping pallets against him. He has very little going for him against good survivors who understand his power. You can Dead Hard or Sprint Burst to dodge his first shot and get to a loop, at which point you're totslly safe unless you get hit at a window.

It would make sense, but it would make him op, because mostly we have obstacles that are not full walls. It would guarantee him downs almost everywhere.

Maybe his weapon should injure and be able to down survivors at a certain distance? Allow him to down survivors who are near pallets.

Maybe shooting an injured survivor should apply some sort of slow down or hindered effect like clowns bottles? Maybe a 10 second slow to give time to go around the loop or break the pallet?

Have the survivor body break the pallet when he gets pulled X time towards a pallet.

Killer gets the "chain break" stun, survivor gets injured and Deep wounds.

I think that devs won't be able to make such change in just 2 weeks time and even if they did it still might not work as well as we think it would. Maybe some more simple solution would be better.

I've made a discussion about Redeemer beiing somewhat underpowred if you want to know what I think would be best.
