200ms Ping Dedicated Servers (Xbox)

So i was happy to finally see Xbox getting dedicated servers on Monday. Tbh i would love to go back to being dodged over and over again by killers and requeuing because the minimum i'm finding games at is 150ms Ping. Is there no EU servers for Xbox? If I play any other game like Apex, Battlefront 2 whatever... maximum Ping i'll get is 50ms but I usually have about 20ms. 200ms Ping is playable but so frustrating when you outplay a killer on a pallet or window and still get hit. Why is the ping so bad on DBD? 200ms would be like connecting to Asia from where I live.

    It's ridiculous. I keep getting the same matches 4/5 times. I'm lucky if I get a lobby with green ping. You're right on the frustration of stuns and still being hit. I've had it happen so much now. Killer is visably stunned before the hit even hits me, but still knocks me to the floor. Of course, it's just 'latency' but personally, I don't accept this as an excuse. We should be connecting to the servers closest to us, but it feels like I'm being sent across the world for a server now.

    I couldn't even play yesterday... I had a game crashing bug that didn't even let me go to menus

    The locations are the same as for PC. They announced every server location with the launch of dedicated servers. Just look if you are near one of them.

    London is my closest, which is exact same as Apex data center lol. I think i've connected to a london server once.

    Same here. I live near the Frankfurter server (germany) yet I typically get connected to moon servers. Generally I've noticed there's only 3 different pings for me.


    205 +/- (that's the ping I see the most)

    130-155 (just as unplayable as the 200+ping. Lots of teleporting)

    and 40+/- (Frankfurter server) which I rarely ever get connected to.


    Why can't we manually pick the server we want?
