Is there a way to revert the dbd mobile forums Interface ?
I mainly use my phone to access the forums and I noticed that the layout is different, is there a way to revert this ?

Yeah, the new layout is way worse.
Most of the more used options are in inconvienient spots
Eg:
- Menu does not float anymore, you need to enable it at the top of the site, and it closes every time you refresh.
- You cant see how many comments/views a thread has anymore
- There are less threads per screen (the panel for each thread is higher, so you need to scroll more)
- There is no back to the top button, which makes the new menu even worse
- Floating "folder up" button is gone

The changes that are happening right now are a bit confusing at start but overall great. A back to top button might help a lot.

I agree with @Archimedes5000 on mobile you how have to scroll WAY more. You were able to see up to 10 or more discussion, but now you can only see four.

Is there a way you can add back the view/comment counters back? They seem to be missing now with this forum update, those helped out a lot!

I personally don't like that I can't see the number of views and comments a thread has. I also don't like how I can't see who posted the threads.
I think I would eventually get used to it but I don't think the old one needed changed. I thought it was pretty good tbh.

Wow that's completely new, I changed the Settings to display this site on Desktop mode and it feels completely different, might be the resolution because of a small screen (Phone to PC) but the font on comments are way larger than other things (profile name/pic, flag,quote and vote buttons feels really small).

Im not sure if its still an issue, as the changes are being made while online, but the notifications sometimes are behind the new menu.
So the main issues left are: you cant see amount of comments/views on a thread, amount of scrolling increased and there is no "back to the top" button
@ThisGuuy83 I had the same thing happen to me before (black letters in a black textbox) but now its working properly.

I'm sort of having the opposite issue (I'm sorry, guys).
On mobile, there are so many words without pictures to break them up, I'm having a hard time differentiating titles. My brain is like, "here's a giant wall of text, have fun making sense of it."
Granted, this is a fault with my brain rather than the forum, but I'm guessing there's no way to restore some sort of picture beside each topic? Even if it's some generic bullet point, at least it would be a visual cue to split up the subjects.
It's ok if not, but wanted to ask, at least. Thanks!
EDIT: Switched my phone from landscape to portrait and can see the stars on the right of each topic, so never mind. That's good enough!

Oh, @Peanits , I just noticed that you cant see the bottom of the page because of the menu. Not sure if there is anything important there anymore, but I think there was something.
Also there is something wierd sticking out of the menu now.

Yes, unfortunately not a big fan of the new design. Everything is one colour and too large and spaced out.
Is there any way to put a coloured line or something in between posts on a thread? Everything looks like one long continuous post and it's not as easy to process where new posts are :)

I find it insane they could make a bad forum worse, in layout, look, and function. Both the mobile and desktop versions run like #########, literally everything just feels sluggish and has no polish.

Clicking Back on top button could use some animation. It shloudn't be instant in my opinion 0.5 sec would be perfect.

I really dislike the new color scheme. Everything sort of blends together imo. I prefer black over these murky grays.

Plus you cant see who the post was by, or last comment on mobile. It's just "[Thread Title][# of comments]"

Don't know if it has anything to do with the new interface. But everytime I leave a comment in a thread and go back to "general discussions" the thread has a "1 new" on it. But it's my own comment.

I know this sounds like whining at this point, but I think the "back to top" button is a bit too big and should be more in the corner

I certainly hope they didn't pay for this design. The old layout was much nicer to look at, and more intuitive. This new layout is like every time Facebook changes.
As a web and graphic designer for the last 16 years, I am disappointed. There's way too much wasted space, not enough contrast...and over all it's just a big downgrade.

Peanits would it be possible to have the Edit post symbol or button added to the bottom of your post with the other buttons like flag, quote, vote up? It's always bothered me and I think it would be easier.

I guess I have something to add which isn't related to functionality. I like the overall new design, but I think some parts of it could use with more consistent padding and more whitespace (particularly the sidebar on the right).
I also think some UI elements have way too much detail (borders too bright, border-radius is too high on some elements which looks weird) which make them look cluttered.
Overally I think this design a lot better than the previous one, and it does feel more modern but I think there's still things holding it back.

Remove sabotage speed and hook recover back fast and it make Breakdown useless which is my favorite perk.

Archimedes5000, maybe it's because you are using an iPhone 5. Ask if mommy or daddy will let you have their upgrade this month?

Not sure whats the point of this comment now after most of the features I requested were added, or why do you pretend to know what device do I use, how old am I and where did I get the money, and what connection does this all have with the forum layout, but I appereciate the advice.
