Why is your matchmaking STILL broken?
The devs are doing everything in their power to not address the issue. What the hell good are DC penalties, lackluster killer buffs, insignificant wall breaks, and surv buffs when you still have broken matchmaking that allows cheat with friends to habitually game the system? You really should put a disclaimer on your product that you cater to only one side of your game and be honest with yourselves.

You can't fix matchmaking, because it isn't broken. There are too few killers playing this game. The upcoming MMR ranking won't do crap except hide the ranks.

Put a disclaimer on your game that you actively cater to survs. How hard is that to understand?

That in itself is broken. They STILL haven't addressed gen rush, STILL haven't addressed SWF, STILL haven't addressed how ineffective killers are, and STILL haven't addressed the broken criteria for what constitutes as a "win" for killers. Maybe they want bots on the opposition because pretty soon there won't be anyone playing killer.

I think the devs can't fix it, so they're just going to hide it. They most likely think that it's not the lower number of Killer players, but their matchmaking system.

Oh they definitely can't fix it.
Reminder it took 1 year for the devs to admit they screwed up with Old Freddy and another for the rework.

The penalties are another step not addressing core issues. Now you get penalities for the server dropping you that's outside your control. Not only that, DC penalties in a game that's supposed to be casual (lol) yet they still leave the ability to leave the game as an option. So which one is it devs? What do you want this game to actually be?

They placed everyone from red ranks, etc to green ranks to make matchmaking a bit better. Eventually the new matchmaking system sounds to be ....all survivors in the same pot (or two) and same for killers. So killers that are now red ranks will go against survivors without taking into consideration the rank group. And this is how it is right now just with a longer queue. A rank 2 killer gets survivors rank 10, 16, 8, 4 and not swf. Or a rank 10 killer gets rank 2, 4, 6, 8 survivors.
The only way I can think of fixing the queues are to give players incentives to play more killer.

Because there too busy pushing the new chapter and the butt load of cosmetics that will come with it... They don't make $ by fixing stuff, they make it by selling stuff. There's been a HUGE sound issue with killer that started on the oni release, and it STILL hasn't been fixed. And don't get me started on the maps...

The fact that you cant get 4k all your matches does not make the game survivor biased.

That does not make sense whatsoever. Who said anything about always getting a 4K? If the average is supposed to be 2K, that should always be a safety pip. No exceptions. You should never be in danger of de-pip past that.
