Probably not. Because killrates are unreliable. They aren't the best measures for balance (and yes people who follow what I post, I know I said I defended BHVR because they have statistics we don't have, but..), but they do give the devs a good general idea on what to do on account of other factors.

If a lot of people complain about a certain perk or killer, they'll see if the statistics match, look for more information themselves, and decide on balance changes from there.

It really needs to be hook rates and not kill rates

Exactly. Often I'll hook everyone twice and still get a 0k, while often I'll get a single hook on each survivor and still get a 4k.

wouldnt make any sense, because devs do consider console + mobile and pc stats, mix them up, which is not very reprensative

I'm sure they aren't that different since the average survivor is still really bad, even in red ranks.

Yet there's so many people complaining from before ruin nerf how killers were too strong and had to high of a killrate :F

I doubt that killrates changed much. Killers adapted to the Ruin nerfs, by applying "dirty" tactics now. Tunnelling, camping, slugging, NOED, strong addons are getting more common, and survivors are crying about it already.

We will have to see how the developers will react to the new frustrations survivors are facing now, and if it leads to any changes.

I'd still like to see them because I expect a drop in each of the killers. And would also like to know if the low mobility killers have a bigger drop. If you can see a general reaction like that, and not like "every second killer shows that", then it would indeed tell a bit about Ruin.

next thing to change is going to be slugging

they have already planned for that the new survivor has an anti slugging perk

I would love to know how many hooks each killer gets at any rank, becauae there's a difference between a 4k with four or twelve hooks.

imagine the devs sharing stats on a monthly basis, but nah, otherwise I think some glaring issues would show

This is just a human behavior, not only regarding DBD or other games, but it pops up in politics and other facets of life too. People are all in favor of statistics that PROVE their point and claim they’re rock solid, but show them a statistic that goes AGAINST their argument and there are a dozen reasons why that doesn’t apply.

It also happens in sports, rings are a measure of who the greatest player is... until you realize someone has 7 rings for being a benchwarmer.

And people who quote the Bible for their side but when something goes against their belief then that part of the Bible is outdated somehow

Stats will be even less relevant than ever with the implementation of the rift and the current rank issue a.

So many throw games trying to do challenges and then you have players being matched with those they shouldnt be. It's why they don't use these solely for balance purposes.

The stats have been shown tp only do one thing and that's to increase players posting that a side needs nerfed.
