Question regarding the PTB progress

Hey there.

So I'm not sure if I can ask that here, maybe I was just too blind to find the right thread for it as it may have been answered already, but I recently bought a few killers (already when the PTB was released) and now just an hour ago updated to the PTB in order to check out the changes. Then I realized the killers I bought (around 30€) were lost, the auric cells gone and the progress of current characters reset to an earlier state (probably a week or so ago) and so on.

Is that normal for when you use the PTB client? Will I get the stuff back once I revert to the old client?

I have already submitted a ticket on the support page just in case, but I wanted to make sure and ask here as well.

    PTB copies your data from the point before the PTB has been started. From that point on both versions run different save files, i.e. if you buy stuff in the live version it wont carry over to PTB and the other way round. The PTB savefile will be deleted once ptb is over

    @florke you will keep your stuff once PTB is over. When PTB's start, they take a save file from about a week or 2 ago and use that instead of the current one(IDK why, maybe for performance and speed of download). it is normal.
    For example, I spent 2 days farming for 1 million BP before PTB came out, then when I got on, remembered that it would take an older save file. I had only 100k BP :(

    Yeah you will get your stuff back on the live version, it copies from a couple days back before they release the ptb so if you bought them after they did the save files than you wouldn't have those killers on the ptb
