Give killers handicap when facing SWF
It's the only fair way to balance.
"The entity is empowered by their bond and friendship blah blah blah making his servants more powerful", scaling with number of SWF (no handicap for two people, starts with 3, increases with 4)
-Window loops can only be vaulted twice before being blocked
-Reduce number of pallets
-Decrease genspeed
etc...

Just look at the recent patches and you see how what BHVR idea of the game is.

i forget that snyping your frieds in solo would be match better for mm and we all would get faster a match just becouse some people can't sand that someone likes to play with frieds and want punish them for nothing. side note not all swf are bully teams peope make bigerr isse of it then it actually is

I'm also tired of being told that I can't play a game that has Co-Op in it with friends.
What BHVR needs to do is not nerf people who do want to play SWF with friends. Because not everyone is a death squad. SWF more often than not gets themselves killed with how altruistic they tend to be.
What BHVR needs to do is close the gap between Solo and SWF, and then balance the game around that. Give Solo advantages that SWF (admittedly) has.

What about this thread made you think the suggestion was you can't play the game in co-op mode?
And suggesting not nerfing swf because not every squad is a death squad is just as smart as suggesting not nerfing ebony mori because not all killers use ebony mori. If something used to it's maximum potential is deadly for game balance, it ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be nerfed regardless of how "some" people use it.
While it's true that BHVR should bring solo up to swf level, do you honestly think that's going to happen in any reasonable amount of time. It's far more simple a solution to bring swf down to solo and killer level rather than raise the other 2 up.

Wow, the overwhelming hypocrisy behind that statement is disturbing. It's obvious to everybody that wanting swf to be as powerful as possible is the battle cry of people who want easy wins. Balancing swf is something that people who want balance would say. Why not try actually using this skill you seem to care for so much while playing swf that would quickly counteract any "punshing playing with friends" aka balance.

the only way to "balance" SWF would be to give solo queue an ingame voice chat, then make killers strong enough to handle 4-man SWF every game. If you give people a penalty for playing with friends, they will just stop playing the game (or just play it less).

No.. I really don't think it would be. I wouldn't like to have a perk that could possibly randomly disable another perk I have. Like Ruin disabling Pop Goes The Weasel.

Noone wants you to punish for that. Get your friends, let one of them be the killer, and everything is fine. Of course, if you bully that killer he might want to stop playing with you, or stop being your friend.

But the argument that was brought up and that i answered was about being able to play with friends, not about bloodpoints. And yes, a challenge might be differently challenging, depending if you do it solo or in a swf. so i believe it would be fine if all who do it have the same starting point.

It's not nothing. It give an unfair advantage to the group. Since they can coordinate, the killer is at a disadvantage. Since they can communicate, they don't need perks to provide information and can use all meta perks.
Nobody hates you playing with friends, but the game was not balanced for it, and swf groups break that balance. Something needs to be done to bring balance back into the game....and quickly.

i have nothing agais to balance swf i just dont get why so mamny people demand punish for let just bring solo players to swf level and them buff the killers, if devs would implement changes that was given here many survivors players would snype solo lobby to get there with firds and it would only get mm worst

Dbd isn't designed for survivors using voice chat. There are aura perks like bond empathy alert.... For a reason.
If 4 people gives every info to each other all game, game is broken. You have 20 perks worthof info.
I would like devs to give killers some info or random perks. It could be fun

I totally agree with this argument. It's one of the reasons I thought the walkie talkie concept from Friday the 13th was great. It wasn't too hard to find,added an extra objective,and they had to work to get their voice chat. The killer could also hear you if he got close. That's unfortunately not going to work here though, because they'll just use a party chat or discord or skype,etc etc etc. Their literally isn't anything they could do besides modify perks or bp, whatever. Probably one of the reasons it hasn't been addressed. It's not an easy fix. They could just take it out of the game...and face even more backlash.

How you convince people to play Killer while the game is still "balancing" Killers to match SWF because let's be real here if SWF = SoloQ (the way you want to be balanced) Killers would wait more than 4 months to see any adjustments in order to match this balance.

In theory the game is punishing me and many others for not having friends (with the amount of potatoes,locker jockeys and DCs a person will see) so I guess it's only fair lol. A lot of my buddies played the game back in the day when it was harder to win as survivor,so now I have a hard time convincing them to come back.

Swf is regular. Not swf is just easy and boring as killer. As a killer I rather face swf. If you're not satisfied with this, pick an op killer. Depending on the add-ons you put or the map gen speed doesn't matter. Some builds give you a 100% guaranteed win. Without swf, 300% lol.

You Can't punish players for wanting to play with their friends, That's just not appealing to anyone.
What needs to be done and something they've danced around for years now is to just Buff solo survivor for example by making kindred basekit and then Buff killers to accommodate, That way there wouldn't be such a drastic difference in SWF vs Solo games.
This would take a lot of work and knowing how slow the Devs can be I honestly don't see this coming especially since it's been suggested over and over.

Why would a window block quicker when it is SWF? How would them being SWF need to stop them vaulting a window? Why would they need less pallets because they are SWF? It is just a really odd demand. Being SWF doesn't mean they can run you better.
There are a lot of SWF groups out there who are just playing for fun with a wide range of ranks and abilities who get beat by killers regularly. Those people should be punished because sometimes you come up against a good co-ordinated team?

Because the solutions always proposed literally only punish those who do play with friends. It's so ######### stupid to say "hey, you have friends, you get less resources than everyone else does". BHVR wants consistency in their game, and doing something like increasing gen speed or reducing pallets doesn't fit with that thought. Instead, how about you make everyone else stronger so some people don't have to play the game different than everyone else.

I agree. I stomp most swf groups into the ground anyways. Usually if I lose it’s because I made multiple mistakes or I’m just trying to do something specific like a challenge or ritual

I think some survivor main (and maybe devs) can't understand how comms make some balanced perk very unfair for killer (Object of obssession, Head on, Adrenaline, Breakout, incoming Saboteur...)

Swf is what makes the game competitive. 4 randoms is a almost guaranteed 4k.

This. Whether it's a four man pain squad or two friends playing around, we need to accept that swf is a huge hit, and selling point for survivors, which is what, 80% of the player base? It also doesn't make sense, either gameplay wise or business wise to punish such a large amount of your player base.
Instead, it makes way more sense to evolve the game to where it's base is taking it. This kindred idea is good to help give solos information, and maybe giving killers whispers as a base kit or something would help even it out. Instead of telling people "no play it this way", adjust it to how people want to play

Multiple problems with this.
These days the problem is not only SWF but also that survivors sometimes just post discord links in the chat.
4 SWF is only 4 per cent of player base. At least to date of 2018. I doubt much has changed about that.
Often killers confuse normal solo survivors with SWF.
In my opinion the big mistake behavior made was not giving solo survivors voice chat to begin with. I get that they wanted this for atmosphere and feeling.
But now any survivors who use discord or teamspeak, no matter if SWF or not, have a clear advantage.

The problem is that the game wasn't designed with SWF in mind. Thus, making playing with friends an unfair advantage.
Had the game been designed around coop, no one would have a problem with.
It isn't really that hard to understand.
