Meta doesn't matter even in Red Ranks
This is my go-to build in red ranks. No Decisive, no exhaustion perks, no unbreakable, no items.
I play a more passive, team oriented style and that wins me games. You'll never see a streamer running something like this. But that doesn't mean it's not an option.
You don't need flashlight saves, 360s, dead-hards or to even be a fantastic looper. You just have to contribute a lot of value to you team, which I do through gens, totem hunting and saves mostly. There are a lot of playstyles that are viable in this game that you don't see promoted much

Of course you can run any perks you want as survivor, the game is easy enough. As long as your teammates play in a normal way and you don't have to compensate teammates crouching in a corner, you can win perkless.

it's not that hard to run perkless and itemless as a survivor. Once you watch a 10 minute video on tiles and how to negotiate them, you're good enough to run the killer effectively enough for the other survivors to do enough gens.
