Lockers make DS unbearable
It's worse in endgame, but at any point in game, I should be allowed to NOT HAVE TO PICK UP A DS USER. So when endgame comes and 2 survivors have DS ticking, am i supposed to just let them go? or look stupid as they stun me from the lockers theyre hiding in, from DS.

This topic has been brought up many many times. But it's a staple survivor perk so they won't touch it for at least another 2 years. It's like turning off aim assist in a FPS. If they did that soooo many people would suddenly suck and they'll stop playing. BHVR won't risk losing 4/5's of their customers.

On topic: if you are in an advantageous position as killer, just call their bluff and eat the DS 1% of the time they might actually miss it too. If it is already endgame and you have lost, you can just wait out the timer in the locker, or fake walking away and try to slug if they attempt to get out slowly (lust make sure you lunge and not tap M1).

I only see newbs miss ds and those players tend to lose even with that perk. Its the veterans that never miss thats the problem. I can hook someone, go after another person, hook them, then the first survivor makes a save, I go after them and DS is still active. I clearly went after someone else after I hooked them so I wasnt tunneling yet I still have to play around it. The only time I like DS lockers is when im trapper but thats more of shits and giggles. They can step in the thing and force me to slug or if Im gone they can get out before I get back.
As for 2 years. The perk came out about that time ago and it took them THIS long to rework it. It's not like MoM which took them a month. They took their sweet time with DS. This game isn't going to die in 2 months. We've been saying that for awhile. So long as they continue to draw in new players who dont realize its broken they'll stay in business.

yeah, just slug them (the first guy that comes back to make the save) and go after the others. I would never intentionally eat DS unless you are at a clear advantage, or need that survivor dead ASAP. Getting their DS when you have an advantage means you can just tunnel and kill them later.

I mean you don't HAVE to grab them. You can wait it out. You an slug. You can't eat it early. You can not tunnel. You have options.

Well if you slug they can run unbreakable or they can heal themselves to "get help" and someone else can revive them. Thus wasting your time which killer doesnt have.

Gotta take that risk, If you have the ability to take the 6 second stun, then do it. Just know that's 6 seconds that will either go to a gen or them to get distance on you. They can only unbreakable 1 time a game, and if a friend comes to aid them, then they are off a gen doing that.

Its still a bs perk that rewards failure and everyone runs it. More than 80% of the survivor community uses it. Why hasn't that been given the ruin treatment?

tough call, i think it has something to do with 4x survivors have the ability to generate 4x the profit, whereas 1x killer can only buy 1x cosmetics ;)
I would also say it's BS and needs tweaking, I don't even run it for its intended purpose, I use it specifically to hook trade with BT.

You're not forced to pick up the DS survivor, just wait them out.
If you get stunned, why did you stand directly in front of the locker? You should anticipate they will have Head On since it pairs well with DS survivors.
If they use Inner Strength, eat the DS and you grabbing them puts them into the dying state, from the healthy state.
If this happens during the EGC, just wait them out. You have a timer pressuring them. 😁
DS is fine in my opinion, you had plenty of options but decided to not use them. 😕

make them waste it before EGC, i often just grab them if i think they have DS so i don't have to deal with it later and if you put enough pressure onto the survivors people will often waste DS to try to give the others more time to recover.

And DS is like NOED to killers. You'd be surprised at how many people DON'T DO bones. They just dont want to. Besides if they start nerfing that ######### on survivors they need to start Nerfing ######### on killers perks as well :D yall already got the toolbox nerf..soooooooooooo what more do you want? Survivors to not have any arms or legs?
I used to side with killers, lately nope. I feel no pitty for yall what so ever. Keep crying about perks that will ALWAYS be in the game.

It's better than it was. I think if they made it so it wears off if your healed or the killer hooked someone else, then it would be perfect.

Noed at least has a solid counter even before it comes into play. DS doesnt really have that. Slugging doesnt help because its still slowing down your objective. Cleansing bones can slow down the survivors objective but there's 4 survivors. They can share the burden. There's no one else to do the killers job.

I normally do, but if I get tunneled x amount of times i put ds on
my play style, and build depends on killers :D

I miss DS at least one out of three tries, especially if the killer has Huntress lullaby or unnerving. I'm pretty bad at the sudden skill checks and the doctors skill checks are the worst... I didn't know you could use DS getting grabbed out of a locker though? I hardly use lockers or DS anyway but I'm definitely gonna check it out, lol. I'll probably miss the skill check anyhow : (

All of the crutch perks that ruin game flow need to be nerfed. That includes Noed and DS.

Which will never happen. They changed it for the potatoes so they could easily hit skillchecks. I personally could never hit Greats everytime but that's why it was a Hex. People just complained so much so they had to nerf it to the ground. Of course, killers have been doing the same for survivor perks, but we all know they won't get Ruin treatment anytime soon

I don't. I guess it depends how sweaty they are. Or if they are going for a adept achievement. Some people just like having an OP build. I always see DS on the high rank survivors though. It's almost a guarantee.

Learn to use the tools given you and accept the tools used against you. Stop acting like little babies. If you can't win when survivors are running that perk then you are not as good as you think you are.
Work for your kills. You shouldn't be able to get them for nothing.

Or if a guy with DS gets unhooked, I ignore him, down and hook 3 other people, then find the guy with DS trying to unhook, he hides in a locker, I grab him and get DSed, then it means I tunneled? Or was I supposed to have 60 second hourglass in my head that turns every time someone gets unhooked? Lmao

Id rather they address the core issue. Gens get done too fast because the killer can't pressure everyone at once.
They can remove NOED and id be fine with that if they took DS with it. I rarely use it even on killers that could really benefit from it. Id rather not let the game get to the EGC.

And you shouldnt get 70% of a generator for nothing either.
Work for your generators and dont use invicibility. Accept tunneling as a tool against gen progress or something.

DS should really only work when being picked up from the ground. I don't see how anyone can look at having a full minute of invincibility in a locker as being balanced. Lockers shouldn't be available when DS is active, it literally removes the counter play (slugging) to DS. At least make the stun time for DS regular like a pallet stun, don't know why it needs to be 5 seconds. Welcome to DBD, where survivor mistakes are rewarded and a single killer mistake can cost them the game.

They nerfed what? Last change to DS was a buff, stun increased from 3 to 5 seconds. And before that was a rework that made it possible for 4 DSes to be active at the same time, made juggling impossible, made Endurance not work on DS, etc.

You are saying this as if killer is not pressured on time. You cant wait full minute when gens/gates are being done, you cant do ######### about DS crawling through open exit gate, you cant ignore DS going for an unhook, you cant slug DS+Unbreakable, you cant wait out DS+Inner Strength in a locker.

Have you played after rank reset? Where 95% of killers just tunnel off hook?
How is the survivor meant to defend themself when the killer just proxy camps the hook waiting for the tunnel?

Stop lying and exaggerating to get your point across. If all killers tunneled off hook like you say, I wouldn't have made it back to rank 1 in a day and a half from being reset to green ranks, lol. Nobody is having your phony claims anymore. Especially when you just disappear when someone asks for proof. I think what you're experiencing is that green ranks are simply where you probably belong with your skill level. After all, you're the one who said you have a hard time dodging a Hillbilly.
DS does reward failure. In order for it to come into play, you have to get caught and hooked.

What I said is true after rankreset. It was funny watching streamers like tru3 complain again and again about how all killers try to 1 vs 1 at green ranks. I think people forgot how bad it was with the new rank reset for a few months.
Survivors go down and get hooked. That’s their punishment for a misplay. They don’t have a chance to defend themselves when they’re tunneled off hook twice in a row after.

I don’t tend to intentionally tunnel as killer so I’m fine with DS as it is.
Not that hard to go after a different survivor or just slug the recently unhooked person.
Also, I like to keep a 60-second stopwatch running each time someone gets unhooked so I know when it’s safe to pick up. 😂

You generate a lot of pressure from slugging. Its actually really helpful. Also sometimes when I don't have ds I jump into a locker anyway to make killers ignore me. Its really effective. Sometimes it works every time!
I know tunneling the weak link out seems like a good idea but let them go. They'll be easy to catch later. Its the gen jockey you need to get on that hook asap.

Judging by your behavior and nonsensical claims and statements on these forums (which points to your entitlement and arrogance) to make killers look bad and survivors somehow look like victims, I don't think I'd blame anyone for tunneling you. Overall, you are greatly exaggerating your claims and outright lying. This whole "95% of killers at green ranks tunnel off hook" nonsense is just that, nonsense. It's as nonsense of all those killers who say every team they face at red rank is a coordinated SEAL TEAM 10 with toolboxes and BNPs.
As I said, I think it more speaks to your skill and knowledge level which we all know is (no offense of course, cause you can still learn) is lacking compared to more experienced players. Since me and pretty much everyone I know made it back to rank 1 in 2 days...but for you it's so hard cause you get "tunneled off hook by 95% of killers". This is why you have the reputation (as in, not a good one) you do on these forums. Maybe if you weren't so dismissive and didn't fabricate and embellish 95% of your claims, and didn't demand a nerf to everything you didn't know how to play against (NOED, Hillbilly, slugging etc), people would take you more seriously.

Get better at looping? Dont get seen by the killer? Play with friends?
If the killer face camps you to death, provided your team knows what to do, that killers gets 1k and not even a safety if you punish him. If your teammates are idiots who cant do gens, make safe saves or know when to cut your loses, dont nerf the killer.

Lol 4 survivors running around doing bones completely halts survivors objective. Slug the survivors and run deerstalker to see the downs and if they pop unbreakable you effectively made them waste unbreakable AND DS soooo what is the issue here, just like you crybaby’s tell whining survivors to run Small game and hunt bones. Yep, that's why it got a timer of 60 seconds, instead of unlimited as it was before.
