What perk or perks should be part of the killer/survivor basekit and why?

I just think there shouldn't be caps on the BP categories.

    This.

A less powerful version of flip-flop would be nice too... like... 20%?

Yeah, I hate getting to 95% and being picked up. Like, there goes that.

That would lead to people farming every other game for hundreds of thousands of points at a time.

    Survivor

Kindred: Survivors are suppose to work together

Self-Care: The speed of Self-Care should just make it basekit for survivors

    Killer

Shadowborn: I'm addicted to this perk, without it I suffer great eye strain

Beast of Prey: Because of the strength of looping, and the fact that godloops still exist, this will give killers a chance

I know a lot of people may disagree with this one, but Urban Evasion.

As a survivor I feel like its more of a qol thing and its silly a perk slot needs to be used so I can duck for cover in a decent amount of time.

As a killer I have never had issues with survivors using it but I know some do.

I also agree with @doublev1986. Those two perks encourage healthy gameplay. Maybe even multipliers could be added to them. So if a killer hooks each survivor once before they hook a survivor a second time they get maxed bp ^^

None, but if so, then kindred for survivors and Noed for killers (uh i will get a lot of hate for that)

WGLF and BBQ would be very nice to have baseline. No one should feel obligated to run a perk all the time just so they can progress at a decent pace. I often feel like I'm running 3 perks as killer since BBQ is non-negotiable, and I may as well be running 3 perks on survivor since WGLF has no purpose gameplay wise.

    Survivor

Prove Thyself’s bloodpoint gain - I often feel like I run this perk for the bloodpoints and then get accused of being a ‘toxic gen rusher’ when I use it to complete my objective points and then I go pester the killer until the gates are powered.

WGLF - there is no benefit to running this perk gameplay wise so it should just be a passive base kit.

    Killer

Distressing, Thrill of the Hunt and Beast of Prey’s bloodpoint gains - Hunter bloodpoints can actually be achieved in short chases much better and then killers like Plague and Pig can benefit from the Deviousness points.

BBQ&Chilli’s bloodpoint gain - I feel compelled to run this perk on every killer for the bloodpoints, the aura readings good don’t get me wrong yet I’d rather try some different builds and still get rewarded then juicy bloodpoints.

    Survivor

    • We’re Gonna Live Forever
    • Buckle Up
    • Kindred

    Killer

    • Barbecue & Chili
    • Predator
    • Shadowborn

I could list a lot more since most of their perks are bandaids for core game issues, but these would be nice.

Kindred/self care and Pop goes the weasel.

I think perks such as Bond/Kindred/Empathy could be survivor base kit to really even the gap between solo and SWF, then killers would need to be looked at to make sure they can stand a fair chance against teams with all that information.

Not a perk but I’d also love to see a dull totem counter for both sides to see how many are left.

Once that’s in place make NoeD baseline so there really is a pseudo secondary objective and the end game is actually threatening.

I would also change the exit gate switches so if you don’t hold it long enough for 1 of the 3 lights to come on, it regresses as far as the previous lights progress.

Honestly think these changes could be great <3

A nerfed version of DS. Hard tunneling ruins the game.

    Basekit for Survivors:

Kindred, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable (Minus the recovery speed), We're Gonna Live Forever.

    Basekit for Killers:

BBQ+Chili, Corrupt Intervention, NoED, Surveillance, Franklin's Demise.

Now both sides can hate me.

The game functions better with ambiguity. Kindred should never be baseline. Neither should a totem counter.

Sorry your teammates abandoned you but gens are the survivors only objective amirite?
