devs, please remove DC penalty. DBD servers are still not stable.
wow, angrypug got dc'ed cause the killer dc'ed and now he gets the dc penalty. can you please remove the dc penalty, till the servers are stable? or at least reduce the penalty timers for the first few dc's.

This crap either needs to be fixed or the Disconnect penalty removed.
Penalizing players because of unstable servers is a joke.
Imagine this happening 3 times (or more) in 24 hours and getting hit with a 15 or 30 minute penalty through no fault of your own.
It's ridiculous.

The game is not even stable, let alone servers. I crash either midgame or in the menu in about 1/15 games. This results in time outs btw. And they do stack up quick. After three in one day its a 20 min time out.
Not played the last three days to let that crap reset.

i feel sorry for you all getting undeserved dc penalties. devs should really do something about it. it makes the game look like a joke, getting a penalty as an innocent player.

This stuff Happens, The games not going on constantly crash tho unless It's a problem with your system, even than that'd be on you and not the game.
Removing the first few DCs would just give people a free pass to DC which is what the whole system is in place to try and prevent.

you can watch angrypug's clip. his internet was stable, but the killer dc'ed and and suddenly pug also dc'ed. but it was clearly the dbd servers fault.

instead of calling for dc penalties to be removed angrypug should have submitted his logs of that match and let the devs see what is going on. today I was playing trapper, got 3 sacs, found hatch heard the last survivor waiting for hatch. it opened and they tried to get in it but i closed it thus they ran and then DC'd to prevent me from getting a 4k. pretty petty right? well this is why they need to be left in. I'm sorry if there is someone that CLICKS the leave match game intentionally it needs to be punished more than it already is. if there was a game breaking bug it needs to be reported immediately (I don't care if you're a streamer or not).
Is there room for improvement? yes, but without people sending logs in properly they can't work to stop this. People need to know it's not acceptable to violate the TOS and see that there is punishments for it. Am I sad that pug got a dc penalty when he was not the one that did? YES, and hopefully it isn't something that hurts him too much generally 5 minutes won't be, but if someone continually disconnects intentionally and then suddenly are affected by a program dc I have no sympathy (PLEASE NOTE: I do not insinuate that Angrypug dc's intentionally as i know nothing of what he does beyond people talking about him).

so you 100% know that it was the servers fault and no router in between the killer and the dbd server could have had issues? do you have the packets that prove this? do you even know how to get and understand the network packets? again, I agree pug is innocent (without even watching because I can believe this happens occasionally) of the DC, and my understanding is that he doesn't do it normally (as I have seen others do). but do not blame the server for something you can not know was the server's fault. 1) the internet is not your destination connected in a direct line to you, 2) any one of these routers that connect you (general you) to the end location (dbd server). and a short instability in one of these connections can cause a disconnect.

DC penalty is needed if you don't want the game to be a complete sh't show.
