Iron Maiden rework idea

Whenever you over a locker, every locker within 48m will burst open, and force any survivor out of the lockers. These survivors scream and are exposed for 60s.

If you expose a survivor, this perk goes on cooldown for 40s, and all lockers within range are entity blocked.

You open lockers 50% faster. This part is not affected by the cooldown.

    This is too overpowered. Forcing survivors out is one thing, but a 60 second Exposed effect? No thanks.

    I’d rather have Iron Maiden do this:

    Whenever a survivor goes into a locker, they are trapped inside for 15/20/25 seconds. Once they exit the locker, a sound notification is given to the killer.

    Can we not touch Iron Maiden, I love it just the way it is.

    Iron Maiden is fine as it is. It's a perk designed to counter a particular kind of stealth play by notifying the killer where a survivor is when triggered, and also give an added punishment/advantage to the survivor/killer. With the bonus of search speed drastically increased.

    Keep this:

    "You open lockers 50% faster."

    Replace the other effect with, Anytime a survivor leaves a locker the killer gains Undetectable for 45 seconds. No cooldown.


    This allows the perk to continuously be useful as the survivors will keep using lockers during the game since they will be unaware of the perks existence unless the see the killer open a locker faster. One of the issues with the current version is that as soon as they see the Exposed they are never using a locker again.

    Can we add spikes to the inside of the lockers that stab survivors when they go in? I mean that’s what a true Iron Maiden is. Not to mention the name of my favorite band, but whatever

  • Iron maiden is great perk i run it it on bubba

    the amount of times they think a locker is safe is ridiculous i either chainsaw them grab them or m1 instadown them

    works great in the weekends when u know u will face head on for the memes

    This. Personally, I'd increase the expose effect to 20, maybe 25 seconds at most. The problem with 15 seconds is, unless they botch a loop, you'll never catch them. Especially seeing as it's Huntress that can make the most use out of the perk, yet she's only 110%. If they have Head On, you'll never catch them to make use of that Expose.

    I also wouldn't mind if it applied the Hemorrhage effect. To go along with the Iron Maiden theme.

    It just needs to last longer, 15 seconds is nothing

  • it should show the aura of people inside lockers instead of the scream

    On the one hand, re-working Iron Maiden to make lockers function like hooks would be hilarious. On the other hand, that'd make for such a flavorful perk for hypothetically making Miss Trunchbull from "Matilda" into a DBD Killer that I would be sad if that perk idea was made real without The Trunchbull.
