Matchmaking is also broken on PC, not just consoles.

I haven't had a game in weeks against a team of survivors that were all around my rank, and it's getting really old. I hate playing like a sweaty killer it just burns me out.

Is there any word from the dev's as to how much longer we are gonna have to deal with this?

I admit that most of the time the matchmaking is so broken but I’m sorry, In this example it’s not even that bad. In fact the match making isn’t even broken in this example. The devs said that if you can’t get anyone the same rank as you then you can be matched with survivors that are ranked either 6 ranks higher or lower than you. That came out with the new matchmaking system.
I’d be more annoyed with the games where rank 7 survivors are with a rank 20 killer. That’s what I call unfair

It's well within the conditions they set about the level difference. This is working just fine. Unless you want all those boosted red ranks to be trapped in matchmaking for several hours?

They need 2v8 so people can at least team up with a friend to kill togwther. No one wants to play killer because
1. Killer is weak and extremely frustrating to play at times.
2. You can't play with your friends and being alone sucks.
I'd guess most people will not play killer cause it would mean leaving their friends in the dust.

I get the same on ps4, but I'm a rank 13... It's complete bullshit and I refuse to play killer until it's fixed, or this game crashes and burns... If I wanna play sweaty matches with ######### graphics and frame rate, I'd just re-install PUBG. Playing killer in this game is like being an amateur boxer and stepping in the ring with Mike Tyson in his prime. Your in for an ass kicking...

I'm going to have to agree, this example is not very bad. But keep in mind I've been going against red ranks since rank ~12. And on top of that, since the survivors are really good compared to my skill level, most of them bm and teabag whenever I make a mistake. At this point the game is just extremely punishing and it really makes me mad becuase I love to just sit back and have a good time. Anyways, thanks for all the feedback guys :)

yeah you are right. i actually don't think there are any red/purple rank killers around. well not enough. i can't remember the last time i went up against a red or purple rank. i even get rank 18/20 killers. (i'm in red ranks) it is bs. unfortunately, it won't get fixed. they won't do anything because they are changing the matchmaking system. they are killing off their own game.
in regards to t-bagging etc..i don't think i have come across another game where the players are as toxic as they are in dbd. this seems to be a toxic community.

That's not even bad. I'm regularly matched with red and purple survivors as a rank 17 killer.

It’s never going to be fixed. All that’s going to happen is your rank is going to be hidden. Unless killer population grows out of thin air nothing will change. Just ask yourself this one simple question: “if killer population stays the same, is there any system that can make matches fair and Q times low?” . It’s smoke and mirrors
