should blood-warden be reworked

I feel that blood-warden should be re-worked . ' As soon as the Exit Gate is opened, Blood Warden is activated. The Auras of any Survivors located within Exit areas are revealed to you. '

Once per trial, hooking a Survivor while Blood Warden is active calls upon The Entity to block both Exits for all Survivors for several seconds.


I feel that it should change to once the gens are done , blood warden activates if a survivor is hooked and will stay active even if the survivor is unhooked until all the survivors escape . these are the changes I think it should change to -


1 - shows the aura of the survivor that uses the lever while they are opening the exit gates and if they stop their aura is still visible for 3/4/5 seconds , if 2 survivors are left and both are opening each gate , both would be shown


or


2 - blocks the lever from being pulled for 20/25/30 seconds depending on level of the perk


imo this is a much more effective version of blood warden , then how it is now , would you like blood warden to change to either of these ?

    I chose neither, but I want BW reworked to become active after a gate is started and a hook action is performed, then blocking after the gate is 100%

    This way it can be a delayed block on the gates or they have to take the whole time to open the gate while running to prevent it from working.

    so these changes would completely replace blood warden or be added into it?

    option 1 would probably be a nightmare when used by billy and oni but the rest of the killers would just be like "oh so that is the gate that will be opened by the time i get over there"

    option 2 is just old "remember me" but worse since RM required them to actually pull on the lever for an additional 30 seconds and here they would just need to hide for 30 seconds

    i think it should move to a token based perk so my idea is each time you hook a survivor you gain a token each token you get will add time to how long the exit are blocked once the gates are open maxium i think should be a minute as freddy perks are meant to be it gets stronger as you play the game and certain actions are done like remember me requires you to hit obession fire up are gens getting done so BW can be done for getting hooks what do you guys think?

    I feel like that would just turn into a win more mechanic, maybe I'm wrong but it just feels like dying light for gates, by the time it's useful everyone is dead

    was thinking of treating it more like Devour hope and have it set to maybe 6 token to get a minute but i would also suggest that instead of it activating when you hook someone when the gates are open it activate when all gens are done and you hook someone would that be a fair change?

    I would like both to be implemented in BW

    It definitely needs a buff. Also it's a really fun perk to play against when killers have it

    I think it would be fair that way. If it activated on a hook after last gen, but the built up time didn't start counting until the gate was fully opened that'd be cool. I think I was just stuck on some ridiculous 12 token plan in my head lol

    I think that would be fair to have it activate on hook after last gen, have the timer start counting after gates are fully open. I was just stuck on a really high amount of tokens in my head or maybe I just misunderstood something

    Blood Warden is fine.

    The only problem is that the devs forgot about the ability to 99 exit gates.

    Make the exit gate action reset on interruption and it's fine.

    so the first idea was based around devour hope that each hook you get add a token to a max if i recall devour is 5 and i said 6 for BW and if you get all 6 tokens BW block the exit for 1 minute max and it doesnt stop the EGC would like to hear @Peanits @Almo on that idea as due to 99ing the gate BW is kinda pointless atm

    I think with the upcoming sabo changes, bloodwarden will be nullified so it needs some kind of rework but yeah doubt it will happen anytime soon.
