Lack of cosmetics for non original survivors
so i understand that the default characters will get more cosmetics but the amount they have is insane compared to the others, i find people also play those characters for the skins, and Claudette cosmetics are a waste tbh i never see any of them used due to everyone using prestige gear because of how dark it is (should be looked in to). but we have plenty of other survivors such as kate,jeff,adam,jane etc. who have so very little cosmetics that arent basic recolors, honestly a shame. id like to see the other survivors used, even more so with nice cosmetics

It is a shame we don't see more for them, but it seems like the survivors who do get cosmetics are usually the ones more used than the ones with a lack of cosmetics. I think if they did start creating more cosmetics for them, we'd see them a lot more in matches, at least more than P3 Blendettes.

It all depends on how popular a Character is. Claudette is really popular, so she gets a lot of Cosmetics, same goes for Characters like Meg, Nea, Kate or Jane (last two I dont understand why you say they have a small amount of Cosmetics). If a Character is played a lot, there will be more Cosmetics.
There is a reason why Characters like Ace or Adam get less Cosmetics (even tho, both will get some in the near future). If you have 100 players and 2 of them would buy Adam-Cosmetics, but 15 of them would buy Claudette-Cosmetics, you create more Claudette-Cosmetics. Pretty easy.

claudette is popular but not due to her cosmetics, its due to self-care and her P3 stuff, i dont think i ever see unique claudettes as they all run P3 because boring.. (bet if they changed the shirt to white they`d be mad AF) and if characters had good skins people would probably play them more, but because they keep creating cosmetics for characters with a bunch already why would anyone want to play anyone different? why would you change from someone who has 11 full sets to someone who has 2...

I think the argument that more played characters get cosmetics is false and misleading tbh. Does it play a part? Sure. But let’s be honest - if a character like say...Adam got a skin akin to Biker Kate (ie. Wowee I got to have it!) then he would be played more. But because he doesn’t have interesting skins, people don’t really play him beyond the Blendettes.
I am all for creating more skins for other characters (especially Jane! Girl can’t have enough fashion!) and nerfing Claudette’s prestige :)

technically speaking any character created by BHVR is an original character...
the only ones that are not original would be the licensed characters, but i get what you mean.
for newer characters this can be explained with them being in the game less long than the others, therefore having less cosmetics, as they've had less time to create them.
anyone up to Kate does not have that though, so i guess it just goes after popularity? the more popular characters will get more skins than those no one plays...
i definitely agree some characters have a real shortage of cosmetics to choose from though - and i cant wait to see new cosmetics for them!
and ffs give Billy a shard skin already D:<

lol ok boomer. theyre going to create cosmetics regardless oh what other issues theyre having and thatd due to it being handled by different teams, so asking for cosmetics for the characters that need them isnt really a big ask.
